Winter~
Hermione spread the word quietly that she, Harry and Ron are going to create a class where we actually learn spells and how to defend ourselves.
She said to meet at a local pub that's always been deserted. It was called, "Hog's Head."
Me and my friends all bundle up before heading there.
"I honestly hate winter. It's beautiful, but why is it so cold?!" Celia blows into the air. A white puff of air is visible.
"Beauty is pain. Just like how I had two frost bites last week," Jordis replies.
"Can you not bring that up again? It was a sight I would like to unsee," Celia says.
"Guys, we're here," I call out. The two had almost passed the pub.
I open the door. Inside was a dark room with an old man dusting the floor.
"Everyone's in there," he says after eyeing us.
We make it to the backroom to actually see it's the main room. Everyone was there all huddled together and in seats.
Me, Celia and Jordis find our chairs at the back of the room.
"When did you get here? Please tell me you didn't have coffee," I look at Jee. She usually wasn't awake early.
She smiles with a hint of malice in her eyes as she continues to eat her lollipop. That girl always has one or two Americanos.
Soon Harry, Hermione and Ron enter the room and walk to the front.
Hermione first gives a speech on how we needed to defend ourselves which we all already knew.
Then she started listing things on what Harry has done. He denies and says it was all luck but Hermione interrupts, saying that he was being modest.
"No, I'm not. In school, if you make a mistake, you can just wake up the next day and re-try. But that's not an option in the real world. Where a friend or family member dies in front of you, one second later you could be dead as well. This is serious."
Everyone started clapping for him, I don't know why though. We all lined up to sign up for the class.
"What kind of teacher do you think he'll be?" Jordis asks.
"I just know he'll be a decent one," I reply.
"But where's he going to teach?" Celia asks.
A day later Harry introduced us to the Room of Requirement. It's a room that presents itself to a witch or wizard when they are in need.
In this case, the room was a giant one with a chandelier high on the ceiling and a fire crackling in the fireplace at the end of the room.
The first two days we learned how to disarm our opponents. Jordis had real trouble so me and Celia had to help her when we mastered it.
The next three days we learned how to attack and block. Yoongi always picked his opponent and they all have been guys he didn't like.
While we were training, the hag set out new rules.
The latest was no student activities. She still suspected and had us all questioned.
One day after class Filch drags me to her pink office or what I call, the hell hole.
"Would you like some tea?" she asks me with a fake smile as she ushers to her China tea set.
"No thank you."
