Chapter Twenty-Nine: Christmas (pt. one)

There was a rumor spreading around the school that Cho Chang and Harry had kissed. It was a huge rumor that even Celia talked about, and she hates drama and gossip.

We were on the train to go back home for the holiday. Me, Celia, and Jordis decided to spend Christmas at Celia's house.

Jordis's parents were celebrating a late anniversary while mine had to make a quick business trip to America.

Of course I didn't want to spend Christmas in a foreign country and Mrs. Kiley agreed to have me and Jordis stay with her and Celia.

"Christmas is my favorite holiday since we get presents!" Jordis gushes.

"And this one will be even better!" Celia adds on. "Logan and the others turns out to be near our area so they'll be celebrating Christmas with us!"

"Logan and who?" I raise an eyebrow. I hope it doesn't get too crowded since Celia already had four older siblings.

"Just him, Taehyung, Jee and Yoongi."

"Taehyung?" Jordis blushes a little under her scarf.

"You don't have to hide it, you know?" I laugh at her. "We all know you like him."

"It's also obvious he likes you back," Celia says.

"Really?"

Celia and I nod at the same time.

We all talk the whole way back home. Once we make it to the train station, Celia's dad greets us and takes us to her house.

Once we made it, we go to her bedroom and set down our luggage. We all packed lightly since we were only there for three days.

Celia's bedroom was a turquoise blue with a giant queen sized bed in the middle. The closet was in front of it and a white desk nearby. She had a simple room with pictures of her beloved dogs pinned up on her wall.

"What should we do first?" I ask.

"First we should save Jee since she has to stay with the boys," Jordis states. 

"How? We can't invite her to stay over," Celia replies.

"It's not too dark out so we can all hang out or do something outside of school."

"True, we really do need to do something besides studying O.W.L.S and cursing the hag," I nod in agreement.

"Hey mum, we're going out!" Celia calls out once we were all bundled up to go outside.

"Do you know where they're staying?" Jordis looks at Celia.

"Logan texted me the address of his aunt's house," she replies with a smile.

"Aw, excited to see your boyfriend after a couple of hours apart?" I do a fake pout.

Jordis and I laugh out loud.

"Shut up! Hey, you don't know what it's like. Wait till you guys get a boyfriend," she replies.

"Yeah. Who would want a potato like me?" I point to myself.

"I know, right?" Jordis says.

We exit the house and start to walk to Logan's aunt's house which wasn't very far away.

Celia rings the bell and was greeted with a big hug by Logan. Guess he really missed her too. Geez couples are weird.

After the uncomfortable scene he invites us inside. We take off our coats and boots before stepping onto the carpet.

"So what have you guys been up to?" Logan sits on the couch with Celia.

"Nothing much, as in we have done nothing," Jordis shrugs.
