Chapter Forty-Six: Camping (pt. three)

Celia's P.O.V

No camping trip would be complete without roasting marshmallows and making s'mores by the campfire.

Harper, Emily, and Jee were preparing and laying out the ingredients on top of a nearby bench while Yoongi and Jimin were taking out the long sticks where we roast the marshmallows on.

Jordis, Hoseok, Jungkook, and I were laying the blankets around the campfire. Courtney and Taehyung had the job of starting the fire.

Finally we completed setting up and Serena started giving out sticks with marshmallows on the end.

I had never been on a camping trip with my friends before; just my parents and siblings so this was a bit new for me.

"What should we talk about?" Jordis asks as she looks around us. We had been in a weird silence since me and my group got back from the waterfalls.

"I don't know. What are we going to do next week?" Hobi shrugs his shoulders.

"Next week we'll all be filling out college applications," Harper states. "Except for Jee."

"Is 6th year hard? I barely passed O.W.L.s last year," Jee says.

"We were really busy and had no time to study when we had to be preparing for a battle," Yoongi replies. "Obviously, no one would ace that test."

"I barely passed that test and I studied my ass off!" Emily remarks.

"But honestly...I'm kind of scared of college," Jimin mumbles quietly.

"It's okay, Jimin. I am too," Harper nods sympathetically at him. "I don't know if I'll ever find a major, though."

"Don't worry, you will," Yoongi smiles at her.

"Omo, Yoongerz's getting soft," Jee squeals. 

"Did you bring the popcorn, hyung?" I hear Jungkook whisper to Jimin.

Jimin just simply laughs wraps an arm around Jee. "I won't be seeing you often when I enter college, jagi. Sorry."

"This is seriously too cute," now it was Harper's turn to squeal.

All these couples just honestly made me feel a little down. I really like Aaron but it seems like he's not investing much in our relationship.

He did tell me at first that he was a bit uncomfortable on dating a girl older than him. I admit, it was weird at first but age soon became just a number.

But not to him, I guess.

We started drifting apart like me and Logan, except he started becoming irritable and intolerable. It was like I was his mother instead of his girlfriend sometimes.

"Celia!" I snap out of my thoughts when I hear my name. I suddenly smell something burning and look at my marshmallow. It was inside the fire. When I pulled it out, the marshmallow looked like melted tar.

I make a weird face as I use a napkin to remove the melted marshmallow off my stick. It left a gooey white substance when I moved it.

"Well I'm getting another one," I say as I reach into the marshmallow packet.

Harper's P.O.V

Celia had been kind of distant and when she burnt her marshmallow, something she had never done before, I immediately knew it was Aaron.

As I continue eating my s'more, I didn't notice some chocolate near my lips. I was about to take another bite when I felt a hand brush near my lips.

I look up to see Yoongi. Oh my Jisoo.

Jordis's P.O.V

I sat next to Taehyung and we were having a really weird conversation; from our majors in college to teacups.

"I really like those ones with flowers," I add.

"I mainly like the blue ones. One time, I saw a teacup with a blue dinosaur on it!" he replies excitedly.

"Really? No way!"

"I bought it, of course."

"Oh my gersh the great Taehyung bought something that wasn't Gucci!" I exaggerate a gasp and clutch my heart. "Oh my God my heartu!"

"I wrote "Gucci" on the bottom of the cup with permanent marker, though." Taehyung smiles triumphantly as if he just won a huge award.

I couldn't help but laugh even harder than I already was. No wonder why I fell in love with this extra Gucci boy.

Jungkook's P.O.V

I glance at Emily here and there when I think she's not looking. Whenever she sees me I quickly act as if I saw an animal or critter behind her.

Jiminie hyung has a girlfriend, I should ask him for some advice.

I glance at him to see he was having a tickle fight with Jee-ah. I don't think that's particularly safe around a campfire...but I see Hoseok hyung and Jordis watching over the two.

I look around and see Harper with a face as red as iron man's armor. Yoongi was smiling next to her, calmly eating his s'more.

I really do have weird friends...but I am one, too.
