The summer had passed by quickly again.

Dark clouds filled the sky as we rode on the Hogwarts Express to school. This year we had a hard exam we would have to study all year.

In short term it was called O.W.L.s and all the students, including me, were not looking forward to it.

"Cornelius Fudge doesn't believe that you-know-who is back," Namjoon points to the Daily Prophet. "So how does he explain Cedric's death?"

"Can we not talk about death on our way to school?" Logan looked like he was going to vomit saying that word. He had small phobia of death or so Celia told me.

The two had been dating since the Yule ball but they only skinship they do is holding hands sometimes.

Yoongi, Jee, Celia, Taehyung and Logan sit in front of me while I sit next to Namjoon, Jordis, Courtney and Hobi. At the ball it was unnoticeable at first but Hobi and Courtney had taken a liking to each other.

Celia pats Logan on the back and he gives her a small smile in return.

"School feels the safest now that he's back," Jee says while eating her lollipop with an Americano in hand. Yoongi had made sure she only had one of each.

"Hogwarts does feel the safest since Professor Dumbledore is there, but the passed few years we've all been in danger," I state.

"It might be because of that Potter," Yoongi replies. "You-know-who still wants him."

"Don't blame the poor boy! Besides, you-know-who also hates Professor Dumbledore," Hobi defends.

The two argue a little more before we make it to the carriages. We exit the train and head to them but I notice some strange looking horses.

They were extremely thin so that they're bones were as clear as day. Their head was a skull and they were sickly looking with some wings.

"What are those? I've never seen them," I ask Namjoon.

"See what?" he looks at what I'm pointing. "Why are you pointing at the air?"

"I'm not. I'm pointing at these weird horse-looking creatures," I furrow my eyebrow. Why can't he see it?

"I can see them too," another girl shows up behind me. "You're not crazy."

"Then why can't we? I see nothing," Taehyung replies.

The others couldn't see the weird creature either.

"Only those who witnessed death can see them," the girl says.

"Who are you?" Jordis asks.

"I'm Catherine, Cat for short," she answers with a small smile.

"Who cares? Let's just go on," Celia motions for us to get on.

I get into a carriage with Cat, Jee, Celia, Jordis and Courtney while the boys go into a separate carriage.

Now that I finally saw her, Cat had Slytherin robes and dark brown hair.

"How do you know about the weird creatures?" I ask her.

"I asked a Professor when I first saw them. I can see them since my dog died in front of me."

Celia and Jordis gasps dramatically. "I am so sorry."

"It's alright. He lived a long life."

I see Jee try to hide her wand as she refills her coffee cup. I chant a counter spell so it changed to water.

"We don't need you to be on a sugar high at the feast," I state.

She whines and pouts the whole way there.

Finally we make it into the castle. Professor McGonagall escorts the new first years to the front of the Main Hall while we all make it to our respective tables.

I sit next to Rose, Namjoon and Nayeon.

We chat a little while the new students are called. Nayeon had a little brother who ended up in Hufflepuff.

After Professor Dumbledore came to the podium to give his yearly speech. This time, he introduced us yet another defense against the dark arts teacher.

She had a head full of brown curls, stupid fake smile and she was pretty short. The most revolting part about her was that she wore all pink.

Don't get me wrong, pink isn't a bad color but it did not suit her. I instantly recognized her from the Ministry of Magic; frick them.

She places her pink purse on the table before clearing her voice. Professor Dumbledore welcomes her to the podium.

She walks in a stupid way up there and clears her voice.

"I'm Dolores Umbridge, your new defense against the dark arts teacher. This year, we will be doing things a bit differently."

She goes on about perfecting the perfect and whatnot. When she's done we all clap hesitantly.

After that we start eating our food.

"What does this mean?" Rose asks me.

"It means the Ministry of Magic is interfering with Hogwarts," I reply with a sneer.

"She's really ugly," Nayeon adds.

"That's not relevant to the topic but yes," Namjoon agrees.

I had an uneasy feeling so I didn't eat much.

Now it was the first day of class and my third lesson happened to be Defense Against the Dark Arts.

Umbridge walks in with another fake smile and writes O.W.L.S on the chalkboard with her wand.

"The Ministry of Magic and I have been aware of your previous teachers. Well I am here to teach you all the right way of learning; where you won't get hurt," she waves her wand and a stack of books are placed onto our desks.

I glance at Yoongi next to me and it looked like he was equally puzzled and annoyed.

The book was a kindergarten level, only saying what to do when you do a spell, like flicking the wrist at a 90 degree angle.

Jordis raises her hand.

"Yes?" her voice was becoming more annoying by the minute.

"How are we supposed to defend ourselves if we don't practice?" she asks.

The pink lady chuckles to herself. "You don't need to defend yourself! And if you did, from what?"

"Oh I don't know, how about Lord Voldemort," Harry pipes up. Don't say 'lord'!

The classroom becomes silent except for Umbridge's heels clicking loudly on the floor, making their way to Harry's desk.

"There had been rumors about this powerful dark wizard. I am here to pull all your worries to rest, for those rumors are not true."

"Then explain Cedric's death!" Jimin calls out. This is actually the first time I've heard him in awhile.

"The boy just died of natural causes, not an attack."

"He was a young and healthy boy. How can he just drop dead?" I sneer. Now this was going beyond my borders. You never speak ill of the dead.

"Ms. Evans and Mr. Potter, meet me in my office for detention after classes today," she announces.

"Are you okay?" Yoongi asks me after class.

"Of course not, that bitch!" I hiss while clutching tightly to my books. "If we're learning kindergarten spells then what would the first years be learning?"

He shrugs. "But I doubt they'll live in the real world after they graduate. That is if the hag stays and they live long enough."
