Chapter Five: Halloween

Harper's P.O.V;

It was Halloween and we were all gathered in the giant hall. There was a huge feast before us and we got to sit by our friends.

Namjoon sat next to me while I sat next to Jordis and Celia. We chatted away and it was fun night since candy was also displayed around us. Celia couldn't help but scarf down all the Hershey's and Jordis kept hoarding her favorite candies as well.

All of a sudden, Professor Quirrel came rushing into the hall and silenced everyone. I looked behind me and my friends followed suite.

The scaredy-cat of a Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher kept shouting "troll in dungeon!"

We all started chatting away about the word troll when Professor Dumbledore shouted, "silence!"

He then ordered prefixes to escort us to our dorms.

Jordis, Namjoon and Celia sneak into my common area and we all waited their for the danger to pass.

"What does a troll look like?" Jordis asks us once we're all safe and sound.

"I read about them in a book. They're uglier than goblins and are extremely tall. They're usually a dirty green with wide ears and are shirtless," I explain.

"Ew," Jordis scrunches her nose. "I hate people shirtless..."

"What do you expect? Them wearing a uniform?" Namjoon says sarcastically.

"No but I hate everything and anyone shirtless," she retorts and shoots dangers at him with her eyes.

"Anyway, they're disgusting creatures," I sum everything up since I could tell they didn't want the full details.

"I never knew anything could be uglier then goblins," Celia sticks her tongue out as if she tasted something horrible.

I sit on my bed and shrug it off. When we were at Gringott's Bank, the goblins freaked Celia out and she almost bolted right out the door.

"What should we do in the meantime?" Namjoon asks.

"First of all, a guy isn't supposed to be in the girl's dormitory," Jordis replies curtly, trying to get him out of her sight. He somehow disgusted her.

"Says the girl who breaks more rules," Celia laughs at her own comment before falling off my bed. I help her up while she rubs her head, making sure she didn't break anything inside it.

Jordis and Namjoon started bickering when a loud thump silenced them.

"What was that?" she asks him fearfully.

"Probably the troll," he replies with a shrug. "I bet he's captured now."

"How can you be so calm?!" she slaps him on the shoulder.

"That hurt!" he squeals in a high-pitched voice.

The room becomes dead silent.

"Um...anyways, how long are we going to be trapped in the common rooms?" Celia asks.

The door opened to reveal a very flushed Leah.

"I knew...he was...here..." she collapses onto the floor. 

"Namjoon," she mumbles. "You have to go back to the boys dorm."

"Why are you out of breath?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Because I ran from the boys area to here."

"That's not even half of a block."

"Shut up."

An hour or half so later, Jordis and Celia were allowed to go back to their houses and Namjoon finally went to his dorm.

It took me awhile to sleep that night since the troll had startled me, no matter how calm I appeared on the outside.
