If you'd had any idea where your night would have ended, you would have locked yourself in your house with Netflix and pizza and forgotten about going out at all. Or maybe, you would've gone anyway.
You couldn't tell.
It all started when your friends convinced you to go clubbing with them. It wasn't exactly your scene, but you hadn't gone out in months.
You started your night in a slim dress with pumps. Being the designated driver, you stayed on the dance floor while your friends were tipsily flirting with different guys.
You were enjoying your time, simply dancing by yourself and nodding to the throbbing music.
You didn't notice the shadowed figure creeping around the perimeter of the dance floor, or the second figure following him.
A gasp escaped your lips as you saw the first figure grab your friend from the corner of the floor.
"Let go of me, you creep!" She was screaming and kicking, but everyone around her either couldn't hear her or were too drunk.
"No you don't," you grumbled as you raced to the man and kicked him in the groin. He let go of your friend and turned to you.
Before he could say anything, you socked him in the face, knocking him out.
Boxing pays off, you thought.
"Hey, hey, hey, no. I almost had him! Really?" You turned to see a man with short brown hair and a scowl on his face.
"What?" You growled.
"You shouldn't have intervened, I almost-"
You turned to your friend to help her call the police and a cab home before you turned back to the stranger."Excuse me, but he physically grabbed my friend. He legit picked her up, off the ground-"
"I know, and I'm sorry, but you really need to back off-"
You let out a sarcastic laugh, turning to the group that had gathered. You could hear sirens outside.
"I should back off? I should back-"Your friends grimaced.
"(Y/N), no-""It's okay, it's okay," you put your hands up.
"I'll back off," you turned away.
"Thank you," he started to walk towards the creep.
You scowled.
"I'll back off my as-"You ran back and jumped.

There was the sound of a sliding metal door and the slam of a lock as it clicked in place.
"Well, this is a nice change of scenery."
You turned to the man, holding a bag of ice to your temple.
"We're in a jail cell," you grumbled.
"I was being sarcastic," he snarked.
You rolled your eyes and after a few moments turned to the side, laying your feet on top of his lap. He glared at you for a second and pushed them off.
