I have to say this. I want to tell you guys a bit more about myself.

I have been told I talk... A lot. By family, friends, teachers. I have been compared to Anne Shirley a lot more than I'd like. Anyway, they will listen.

But, it kind of hurts me when people tell me to shut up, even if it's in the politest way possible. I've been told I get a sort of glimmer in my eye when I tell stories: passion. My family know I love to talk and tell stories. It makes my day when someone wants to talk to me, but it makes my week if they want me to talk.

So, one summer, me and my sister were bored out of our minds. My mom, being the clever woman she is, poked her head in the office and said, "Why don't you guys write a story?" My sister jumped on the idea first, but when I saw how much she wrote, I became competitive.

An idea blossomed in my mind, and I set it to paper. Soon, I had written over thirteen full pages, and I wasn't even halfway finished! My dad was proud of his little third grader, and sent what I had written to my principle. She told me it was probably the most well-written story she had ever seen from anyone below sixth grade, and encouraged me to write even more.

Ever since, I have been writing simply for the thrill of it, watching ideas and thoughts come to life. In a way, I am putting a part of myself into every page. I love to talk, and I can practically feel the words slipping into my hand as I write, or in this case, type away.

You guys have been so very amazing to give me support and read this story. I know it's not mine entirely, but I love the characters so much, I feel they are a part of my own life when I write. When you read any of my stories, you are listening to me.

Yeah, I know, weird thought. But it makes me ecstatic when someone votes or comments on my stories, or it says I have over 5k views! It means you guys are reading the words I wrote, the words I speak. And really, I can't thank you enough.

Yours truly,
