A loud knock on Ranpo's door made him groan grumpily because he had just got comfortable on his favorite couch and now he had to get up already. He went to the door and when he opened it...he saw his dearly beloved girlfriend, who looked...quiet tired.

"Bad day?" He asked

"Hello to you too." You teased him "And how did you know?"

"The look on your face says it all~" He explained

You sighed

"Can I come in?" You asked

Instead of replying, he just stepped aside to let you enter and took your coat to hang it, while you were taking off your shoes.

"Work again?" He asked as you followed him to the living room

"Yeah. My boss is getting on my nerves and my coworkers hate me." You answered

He sat on the couch and stretched his arms for you in a childish way

"Come here~ hug me~!" He cheered

You gladly walked to him and hugged him as he fell back on the soft pillows taking you with him so that you were lying on his chest. His hand was brushing your hair, while the other one was stroking your back helping you relax.

"How come is it, that such an amazing person like you always gets stressed?" He asked

"The world is not fair." You pouted.

"Don't pay much attention to others. They're stupid. You have me." He said

"I know...I love you." You blushed

"I love you too, (Y/N)-chan~" He chuckled and kissed your forehead

You stopped talking and just closed your eyes as you were listening to his heart beat. It calmed you down. Maybe it was because you knew, that this heart belonged to you only and you were the reason of its beating. Ranpo could always make you happy. Somehow, he always knew what you needed in the moment. He knew how to calm you down, when you were crying or when you were worried to the point, that you couldn't sleep at night or when you were just stressed out like right now.

He could always make you happy. It felt like he was just a perfect one for you. He understood you. He always accepted you no matter what. You just knew, that he always cared for you because you did the same for him. After all, every human being wants to be loved and accepted. Human can not exist without others, especially without friends and love. If one doesn't get it, they wither like a flower without sun rays.

But you knew, that he will never let it happen.

"(Y/N)?" He called you

"Yeah?" You replied

"How about Netflix?" He asked

"Sure~" You replied

This evening was one of the cutest dates you've had.
