"Darling, I'm home!" Odasaku called you from the doorway as he took off his coat and shoes

He heard some fast footsteps and then you appeared in the corridor with a bright smile on your face.

"Odasaku!!" You exclaimed

He didn't even have time to say anything, when you pounced on him happily. You wrapped your arms around his neck in a tight embrace and he wrapped his arms around your waist, smiling softly too. You've always been so happy, when he came back home. Each time he came back home, it was the same. Some noises from cooking coming from the kitchen, him calling your name, then the sound of your footsteps and then you jumping on him.

"Heey, (Y/N)." He said "Be careful, okay?"

"Yeah, sure!" You answered "I'm just really happy to see you!"

"Same for you, bunny." He smiled softly

"Let's go to the kitchen!" You said as you pulled back "You must be hungry and tired! And I cooked your favorite curry!"

He followed you to the kitchen and sat at the table, while you were putting it on the plate and making some hot tea. It was raining outside so you thought that maybe some tea would be great.

Odasaku was just sitting behind you, while looking at your small frame and thinking. How did he manage to score someone as amazing as you? He was just a Port Mafia member, not even a high-ranking one, yet you didn't care at all about that. You loved him with all your heart just as much as he loved you. He couldn't ask for more. Before he met you, he didn't think that someone could love him at all, but...here you were.

Throughout all the ups and downs, you were there for him. He always knew, that he can come home and be greeted by you jumping on him with that happy smile of yours and a tasty smell of his favorite curry. He trusted you more than everyone, he treasured you.

Somehow, such domestic things always made him happy. When he saw you cooking like this, he imagined how you'd be a good mother and a wife. Yes, he had already decided it. One day, when he'll see, that both of you are ready, he'll propose to you. He wanted to spend his life with you. He knew, that you'll always be with him. You'll help him with his dream, you'll comfort him, when things will get rough, you'll make him happy with your presence.

Because you were the most important person to him.

"Odasaku! Odasaku!"

Your voice woke him up from his thoughts. You were sitting in front of him and pointing at the plate in front him.

"You got lost in thoughts. The curry is ready."

Writing about Odasaku is always sad, no matter what genre it is tbh bc you understood that after all this happiness, there'll be a day, when...you know what happened. So his dreams about marrying and becoming a writer will never come true.
