The 82nd Airborne soon came to a village where the other paratrooper soldiers were waiting for them, about 8 of them alongside other men who were part of the Vale Militia.

Travers: Private, what is all this?

US Private: Sir, we found this village a few hours ago, although there was brief hostilities. We eventually came to reality when we were attacked by about 10 SS Nazi soldiers.

Reiben: Shit...

Travers: We wiped out an armoured patrol a few hours ago too, and we met these girls who are protectors of this world.

Travers explained, soon a young man who appeared to be 19 or up walked up to Team RWBY and laughed while raising up his hands in the air with glee.

Militiaman: Boy! Am I glad to see some huntresses. I thought we were screwed there for a moment.

Ruby smiled but broke the truth to the over-excited Militiaman

Ruby: We'd like to help with your Nazi problem but we're on a mission for Atlas.

Militiaman: W-what? But we need you guys! This village is a minor but important resistance base! We're fighting the Nazis with all we got! We need your help! I mean we already had two huntsmen defending this village but one died, the other had like... information for General Ironwood.

This almost immediately grabbed Team RWBY's attentions, who perked their heads up as they heard this.

Weiss: Wait! Did you say?...

Yang grabbed the Militiaman by the shoulders and begun shaking him with excitement.

Yang: Can you take us to this huntsman like right now? I think he's the one we're looking for!

Blake: Yang! Stop shaking him around.

Yang: Whoops sorry.

The Militiaman slowly regained his lunch as she motioned for Team RWBY to follow him. He led them to what looked like a makeshift hospital. Various weapons were stashed around like Atlesian and German rifles, and tons of American-made Composition B explosives.

Ruby: Whoa...

Ruby looked around, seeing many civilians, mainly woman and children, the men were already with the Vale Militia but she could still see some, mainly with horrific wounds from German bullets. Some got their legs or arms amputated, others had bandages around their waists or heads. Then she was greeted by a teenage by with a certain green-haired mohawk.

Russel Thrush: Red and team? Is that you?

Ruby: Russel? What are you doing here?

Russel: What? Just because I was a douche and one of Cardin's underlings doesn't mean I still abide to the huntsman's purpose.

Weiss: Enough with the chitchat. Russel so let me ask you. Are you Ironwood's messenger?

Russel: Yeah, The Big I came to me and Sky when we were at Vacuo, asked us to infiltrate this shithole that was once Vale, the Germans are crawling all over the place looking for dust deposits, their armies run on Dust y'know?

Blake: Well where's Sky anyways?

Russel looked down for a moment before speaking again.

Russel: Village asked us to defend against the Germans, we also encountered these guys. *motions to the Americans*. Though Sky had the heart to save the hospital when the jackass officer threw a grenade into the hospital thinking it was full of Militia.

Russel motioned to a dried but still evident blood stain on the floor and walls.

Russel: But here's the big deal, they're building something, something huge. I-I can't even believe it myself.

Weiss: What are the Nazis building Russel?

Russel then took out a cracked but functional scroll, opening it and showed it to Team RWBY, the photo was black and white due to the scroll's pixels getting glitched out when Russel dropped it, but Team RWBY could not deny their amazement along with their fear when they saw the picture on Russel's phone.

A/N; Imagine it with dozens of construction scaffoldings around the tower, and a large chunk of it missing. and blocks of concrete being transported by truck.

A gigantic seemingly science-fictional tower brought to reality, 50 meters tall, a near foot of concrete engulfing it's skeleton. And seemingly nigh indestructible...

Russel: And the scary thing? It's almost done... They just need to lay a few more Anti-Air cannons here and there, then Vale's unconquerable. Atlas won't be able to attack by air. It's called the Flak Tower.
