Jay's eyes fluttered open and a bright light blinded her for a second before she was able to focus on anything in the room. Her head started to jolt side to side as her body realized that it was fastened tightly to a very uncomfortable board. Her lower back cramped up and she let out a groan of pain.
"I wouldn't suggest moving too much." A faded voice spoke up. A chuckle followed then continued, a little clearer , "You've been strapped in that same position for the last 6hrs....you're gonna be a little stiff. "
Jay blinked her eyes quickly, the bright light making her eyes ache and looked about her. The room was a large dome with a ceiling make of a shiny metallic mineral. Protruding from the rocks were thousands of prisms reflecting the bright light which was hanging directly over her.
"Where am I ?" She asked the voice.
"Well, it certainly isn't your bedroom, genius. " The voice then registered in Jay's brain as familiar and she groaned.
"Hey Dove." Jay sarcastically mumbled. She let her head fall back on the board she was strapped to and she let out an airy laugh, "You working with them now?"
Dove chuckled again and said, "Well, if you could see straight forward, you'd see that I'm strapped down just like you."
Jay tried to sit her head up and see in front of her and found that she really couldn't see much of anything at all.
"So what happened?" Jay asked as she twisted her wrists around.
"What?" Dove replied coldly.
"What'd they do to Crys for you to rear your ugly face?"
Dove sighed and with smirk she replied, "Do you really want to know that?" She paused to make Jay more anxious before adding, "Let's just say , you were lucky to wake up second."
Jay felt guilty for a moment , thinking about the horrible things they did to her . Her mood then switched to anger in one swift moment as she thought of all the things she would do to them when she got free.
There was a loud hiss before she heard the sound of doors opening near her and her heart began to pound.
"So who's first ?" Doom's voice rang out happily. "Will it be my love or will it be her annoying sister?
"Let's go with the jackass asking the question." Jay answered with a chuckle as she began to struggle against her bonds again.
There was a pause before he replied,
"The annoying sister then?"
"Sure , bring it on."
Doom walked closer to her until she was able to turn her head to see him. His bright eyes looked her over before staring straight into hers. His hand reached out for her face and she began to struggle, making the board she was strapped to, and the straps which held her down, creak and strain against her strength. His fingers ran across her face and then over the skin on her shoulder. He took a moment to stare at her, not like she was a human but as if she were an object, a shiny diamond of sorts. His stare then returned to her eyes and she noticed the awe vanished into a blank gaze before her spoke up again,"These gifts you possess....the powers not even you know you have, they will be mine and there is nothing you can do to stop me from taking them. You can struggle, you can even scream but here, " his finger motioned to the ceiling the the dark cavern and he added, "No one can here you, and no one can save you."
Jay stared at him a moment, swallowing hard before letting out a sudden chuckle, saying,
"Speaking of saving, why don't you save this evil monologue for one of your less suspecting victims, eh?"
Doom's grin faded to a stern and emotionless face as he stepped back from her, shadows beginning to envelope his frame.
"I see." he sighed, "Alright, let the fun begin."
