They were silent from the moment they arrived at the mansion to the moment they entered the jet until Peter finally spoke,
"So um," he swallowed, "Where did that other Johnny dude go?"
"He was on vacation and just happened to get caught up with this." Jay said, "Believe it or not there are other things that he needs to get to with his Fantastic Four group."
"What is that?" Peter asked, "A band?"
Bucky chuckled and Jay grinned saying,
"No. They are a group of genetically altered humans that go around saving people."
"Like your Guardians of the Galaxy thing you have goin'." Logan cut in as he seated himself and strapped himself in.
"Hey, we got some pretty damn good stuff goin' for us k?" Peter said, crossing his arms.
"I'm sure you do." Charles said as he passed by them all to reach the cockpit, "But let's just keep this little contest at a minimum alright?"
"Yes sir." Peter said sarcastically.
Steve then appeared in his suit and shield and sat himself down. Beside him sat Bobby and Rogue who talked in lowered tones with Storm, But when Matthew appeared, he wasn't alone. Walking beside him in the standard black combat suit, with her dark hair french braided, the you woman Jay recongized as the newest recruit from the Brotherhood, Moyra stood. Jay motioned to her when they entered the jet and she hurried over to seat herself beside her new friend.
"You ready for this?" Jay asked.
"I am." Moyra replied confidently, "This isn't my first rodeo you know. Just my first on the right side."
As she spoke Peter looked over at her, but then hesitated. Moyra noticed him and smiled asking,
"Um can I help you?"
"Don't answer that." Jay quickly added, pointing her index finger at him.
Looking annoyed, he sat up and seemed a bit hurt.
"What? She related to me too?" Peter asked.
Bucky laughed as he assembled his weapon and Steve grinned.
"No." Moyra said.
"Oh." Peter said, his hopes now up again.
"No." Jay looked at him hard.
"C'mon." Peter said.
"What the hell is going on?" Moyra asked, very confused.
"Don't worry about it." Jay said. "Moyra, this is Peter Quill, my cousin. Peter, this is Moyra, she's the newest x-men recruit."
"Hi." Moyra said.
"Hey." Peter added with a nod of recognition. "So what's your power?" he asked.
"The creation and manipulation of fire and electricity." Moyra said proudly.
"She can also go invisible." Jay said.
Peter made a nod and smirk of approval and Jay rolled her eyes.
"Matt!" She called to her distracted cousin, "Sit down and buckle up."
Matthew quickly dropped into the nearest seat which was beside Logan, and strapped in.
"So Matthew is your cousin too?" Moyra asked, "What are his powers?"
"Teleportation and mind reading." Jay replied as the jet's doors closed and the whirring of engines could be heard.
"Cool." Moyra said with a nod.
As the jet ascended, Peter asked,
"So where did your aunt go?"
"Back to Asgard. Odin needed her for something or other." Jay said.
Peter nodded, looking at Moyra with interest. It was then that Charles appeared and called everyone's attention.
"You are all in two teams. Logan will lead Storm, Bobby, Rogue and Matthew into the base as the first wave then Steve will lead Bucky, Jay, Peter and Moyra as the second wave."
"What about you?" Jay asked.
"I need to remain here." He said, "Erik will have most likely set up mutants who can identify myself and you all so i will simply get their attention and lead them away."
"By yourself?" Bucky said
"Well yes." Charles said with a smirk, "What, do you think an old man can't defend himself?"
"Old?" Peter said.
"Don't ask." Bucky added with a chuckle.

Crystal opened her eyes slowly, the dim light making her vision even more impaired. She waited for someone to move but nobody did and that is when she became confused. She looked about her and realized that she was indeed alone and a sigh of relief came to her.

She scanned the room again and began to plan her escape. She knew that she couldn't pull off her restraints with sheer force but it was possible for her to be able melt at least one of them with the energy from her blade. She was sure that, if she tried, she could focus her energy around her wrist and melt the shackle. That was the moment that she realized what to do, but it was also the moment when The metal door in the darkness creaked open and her stomach turned. She knew what was coming and a terrible sense of dread spilled into her heart. It was a fear that made her cold and a shiver ran up her spine.
