Jay fell hard on the floor and groaned.

"Ok," she said, "THAT hurt,"

She hobbled to her feet and sighed, looking at Bucky.

"Can't we have an extended weekend ?" she whined.

"You had your weekend and so did I." Bucky said, "Now listen up."

Jay tried not to smile and she placed her hands on her hips.

"Im going to have you spar with Kitty Pryde. The Professor told me that he'd like to see how you deal with her powers."

"Oh lovely." Jay chuckled. "Alright."

Bucky gave her a wide smile then walked over to her after whistling across the gym.

"You'll do fine." he said as he put his hand on her shoulder.

"Ok. I'm ready." Kitty said as she ran up.

"Besides," Bucky added in a whisper, "I taught you. You just can't beat that."

Jay laughed as Bucky walked off to the side.

"We'll have to wait for the Professor to show." Bucky said.

"Alright." Kitty replied with a bright smile. "So Buck," she began.

Jay shot her a look of disgust and anger at the shortenning of his nickname and the aimiable tone with which she said it. Jay placed her hands on her hips once more and cocked her head, waiting for Kitty to continue. Kitty noticed the death glare sent her way and she smiled, flipping her hair over her shoulder.

"How have you been doing Soldier Boy?" Kitty asked Bucky in a flirtatious tone.

"Fine." Bucky replied, crossing his arms.

"That's good." Kitty added.

Right then, Jay thought that Kitty was lucky Charles showed up at that moment, because if he hadn't, Jay would probably have mopped the floor with Kitty's face.

"Bluejay," Charles began, "Kitty has a unique power. She can pass through solid matter and have such matter, for example, projectiles, pass right through her. Remember this, it is going to be difficult to defeat her."

"Yup." Jay replied.

Jay streatched her hands and balled them into fist. She shut her eyes and focused her energy on her hands. Her body's forcefield diminished until it covered her hands. She grinned and opened her eyes. No one could see the forcefield but her. She didn't know if this would work, but it was worth a try. She would punch her directly in the face, hoping her hand would not slip through.

"Begin." Bucky said.

Kitty put her hands behind her back and smiled as Jay cane forward.

"Straight through huh?" Jay said.

"Don't even try," Kitty added, "You can't do it."

Jay let out an angry chuckle then, without a second of warning, Jay threw her fist dirctly forward with all her disgust, jealousy and rage giving it speed. She honestly did not realize what happened, and nor did Kitty. Jay had expected to be thrown forward and onto to the floor. Instead, Kitty was curled up at her feet holding her face as blood dripped through her fingers.

"That's impossible!" Kitty shouted.

Bucky chuckled quietly to himself as Charles came forward.

"Interesting." Charles said. "How?"

"Forcefield." Jay said with a shrug. "I made it so that it went aroud my hands. Since my forcefield isn't made up of matter I thought that maybe I wouldn't go through. I actually didn't think it would work."

"Well I think that's enough for today." Bucky said.

"Indeed." Charles added.

Jay shot Kitty a grin to which the mutant replied with a glare. Jay made her way out of the gym and into the hall, Bucky beside her.

"What was that about.?" Bucky asked.

"She was flirting with you. The cow." Jay mumbled.

Bucky chuckled and put his arm around her and on her shoulder.

"Oooo. Jealous are we?" he teased.

"Yes." Jay said matter-of-factly.

Bucky was a bit thrown off by this and looked down at her.

"Really?" he said.

"Yes!" Jay replied, a little annoyed.

"Well don't worry," he said as they reached her door. He leaned close and whispered, "You're my only Blue."

Before she could ask what on earth he meant, he was already halfway down the hall. Jay furrowed her brows and walked into her room.

"His Blue." she repeated.

A fuzzy fealing spread over her as her stomach knotted. She dropped on her bed with a happy sigh, the giggled to herself, squeezing one of her pillows close. She was acting like a child, but she didn't care. She was his Blue. Could he really mean............?
