6:23 a.m in Jay's POV

"Can you stop poking me you idiot." I said to my brother as he kept poking me in my back with his finger while we were standing in line.

"Jay, you know I don't like the name calling. Your brother is not an idiot." My mom said as I rolled my eyes.

"You sure about that? I don't know how he even managed to graduate high school." I said as he smacked me on the back of my head. I smacked him back. I don't care if we are in public.

"Stop it you two! Act like you got some home training!" She semi-yelled as I glared at Tae. We were standing in line to go through the TSA Security Checkpoint.

"Ma... she always starting something." Tae said as I stepped up so the officer could check my ID and my boarding pass.

"How old are you ma'am?" He asked as I looked at him.

"I'm 17..." I said as he scanned my stuff.

"Have a nice day." He said as he handed me my stuff back. I walked up and I grabbed a bin to put my MacBook and my book bag in.

Once I got them settled, I took my shoes off and put them in a separate bin. Security split up into like 9 different lines. My mom and my brother vanished into the other lines as I shook my head.

I'm so tired. I'm definitely not a morning person. I barely like waking up at 8. So, 4 o'clock was really pushing it.

I looked down at my mix-match socks and I laughed to myself... typical me.

Then, I looked around at my surroundings. I saw a woman and her children, I saw a guy taking off his shoe and smelling his fingers once they rubbed against his sock, ew, and then my eyes fell on a snack.

A boy was standing with his mother. His skin was glowing from the ray of the sun and I noticed the little freckles that were on his cheeks. He looked so fine.

"Ma'am..." A woman said to me. I was knocked out of my trance and I noticed my line was moving. I walked up and I slid my bins across the table.

The security guard pushed it on the conveyor belt and I was preparing to go through the detector. When I looked back to my left, he was looking straight at me.

Once our eyes locked, I hurried and turned my attention back to the detector. She waved for me to step into the machine and I did as I was told.

"Hands behind your head and place your feet on the yellow foot prints." She said as I followed directions.

She gave me the okay and I stepped out.

I walked to the side and I grabbed my bins. While carrying them, I looked for an empty seat. So, I stood up and waited for somebody to get up.

A woman stood up and I walked towards it at the same time as another individual.

"You can have it." He said with a smile that showcased his dimple. I was shook.

"I'm fine... I can wait you can have it." I said as he shook his head no.

"Go ahead... I can wait for another seat." He said with a reassuring smile as I shook my head okay.

I sat down and I put my Vans on. I had the biggest smile plastered on my face and it wouldn't go away. I feel like a total idiot.

A guy next to me stood up and walked away, leaving an empty space next to me.

"Now I can sit down." The boy said sitting in the space next to me as I put on my hoodie.
