The Next Morning in Jay's POV

"Good morning..." I said as I walked in the bathroom to see Dave looking in the mirror.

Can't nobody tell me that this man ain't a walking full course meal.

"Good morning lil girl." He said with a grin on his face as he looked at me through the mirror.

"You and I definitely know that I'm a grown woman. Don't get it twisted nigga." I said as I heard footsteps come towards my room.

"Jay, we ran out of Frosted Flakes... whoa, Dave I ain't know you was here." Keith said as I shook my head at him and he covered his eyes as we started laughing.

Keith and Mo are still staying over here... I almost forgot about them.

"Yeah I got here around 2..." Dave said grabbing his scrub shirt to put on.

"I'll go by the grocery store after I get off work Keith." I said grabbing my towel off of the shelf.

"Ight... let me go finish getting ready... Moniece!! Dr. East is here!!" Keith yelled out as we both laughed in unison.

"I can't stand that nigga." Dave said as I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Then sit down." I said as he glared at me.

"Come on now... you know you love Keith. Everybody loves Keith." I said as he shook his head agreeing.

"Well imma head out... I gotta surgery at 8:15... a cheerleader was doing a stunt and her teammates dropped her. She broke her arm completely and dislocated her shoulder." He said as I scrunched up my nose.

"Ewwwww ew ew go help her... I'll see you when I see you." I said shaking my head and walking towards the shower.

It's gonna be a long day.

2 Hours Later in Chris' POV

"Wassup Niecey..." I said walking up to the nurse's station.

"Hey Brownie... hows your morning going?" She asked with a smile as I smiled from ear to ear.

"Everything's great... I just had a successful surgery removing 4 tumors. I'm a boss in case you ain't know. On top of that, I plan on asking Jay to go to dinner with me tonight." I said biting my bottom lip as Moniece got excited.

"Oooooooo!! She would loveeeee that! I have to go and buy her an outfit and surprise her. She'll be ready by 7." Moniece said as we started chuckling.

"Alright... imma still talk to her though. You heard about Jessie?" I asked as Moniece started shaking her head.

He left Miami General and we heard that he went to one of our rivals... Central Miami Hospital...

"The nerve of him... and now, Demi and Matt haven't even been coming to work. That's why Keith and I have been doing double shifts in here." Moniece said getting irritated.

"Dang that's crazy... well at least you're getting paid double." I said as Moniece started smiling.

"You're right... let me shut up.." Moniece said as I heard a familiar voice walk down the hallway.

"Chris... why haven't you been answering the phone?" She asked as I rolled my eyes. Mo just laughed at me.

"Ma, I just got out of surgery..." I said as I looked at her. She smacked my arm and she spoke to Moniece.

"Have you seen Jay? Where's my girl?" She asked as I shrugged my shoulders. I was looking for her too in all honesty.

"Where's my other mom?" I asked as my mom was about to answer.
