(Jay's POV)

"Oooo there's mine right there!" I semi-yelled as I saw my luggage come through the baggage claim.

Everybody else had their bags except mine. It was almost like our two groups have been sticking together.

"Alright... we have to go get the rental cars." My mom said as Chris and his mom followed us to the shuttle that takes us to the rental car department.

"It's almost like we planned to go on this trip all together." Tae said as we all chuckled.

"What hotel are you guys staying at?" I asked as Chris started to speak.

"It's called the Hilton Garden Inn." His mom said as my eyes went buck.

"That's where we're staying too. This is too coincidental." My mom said as we all gasped and laughed from the surprise.

"At least I made a new friend." Mama Joyce said as my mom smiled.

"Awnnnn look at the parents getting along." Chris said showcasing a goofy smile.

This trip was gonna be one of the best trips ever!

(At the Hotel)

"Noooooo! This is my bed! You can take the couch!" I semi-yelled as I started fighting Tae. My mom was in the bathroom.

"What y'all doin' out there!! Y'all better not break nothin' or imma break the both of y'all!" My mama yelled out as I put Tae in a headlock.

"I want the bed!" Tae semi-yelled as he got out of my grip and he jumped on my back as we both fell to the floor.

"Ma! Tell Tae to give me the bed!! This is my trip anyways!" I yelled out as he sat on my back.

"Let me have the bed before I fart on you." He said as I started fake crying.

"Tae get off of your sister before I smack you upside your head." My mom said coming out of the bathroom as he got up and he sat on my bed.

"Ion know why you're still sitting there, it's my bed so..." I said standing in front of him with my arms folded.

"Jay, I'm about to run to the gas station.... you need to start getting ready. The conference starts in two hours and you know it takes you like a thousand years to get ready." My mom said as I glared at her.

She being dramatic even though it's somewhat true.

"See you when you get back." Tae said as he pulled out his phone.

"Nah, you're coming with me. Your sister doesn't need any distractions." My mom said getting her keys and dragging Tae out of the door with her.

I laughed when they left and I grabbed one of my outfits out of my luggage.

This conference, as stated before, is for future medical leaders. We get to talk and listen to doctors and surgeons. Hopefully, when I get older, I can become a surgeon as well. That's why I was interested in this. The conference is of course three days. It's gonna be thousands of us there. I'm a little nervous because I'm a little hesitant about new environments and just talking to new people right off back.

I guess I'll have to figure it out because our parents have to drop us off. It's only teenagers permitted. Who am I kidding, maybe this will be fun.

I sat my phone on the bed, and I started playing music.

"Hey Daddy" by Usher started playing as I started swaying my hips to the beat.
