2 Weeks Later in Jay's POV

"You're slowly getting on my nerves." I said as Dave intertwined his fingers with mine. He then leaned down and he planted a kiss on my forehead.

"Don't get annoyed, we've been laying here peacefully for at least twenty minutes." He said chuckling.

We're official for the most part, if some of you are asking. I'm just saying for the most part because he pisses me off sometimes.

"No we haven't... since we've laid here, I've been begging you to get up and you've been ignoring me and tuning me out." I said as we both laughed in unison.

"Even if I tune you out, you know I still love you. I just tend to do that when people are sayin' stuff I don't wanna hear." He said chuckling as I pushed him playfully and I let go of his big hand.

"Dave... you can't sit in the bed for the rest of your life." I said as I rolled my eyes in the back of my head. He folded his arms across his chest.

He's being such a child right now.

"I don't wanna do it yet... I'll walk down the hallway when I'm ready." He said as I furrowed my eyebrows at him.

We've had at least two physical therapists try to come in and help, but every time he got frustrated, he ended up firing them. He feels embarrassed because he can't walk like everybody else. But, like I always tell him, he has to work to get that ability back. He has to work on his leg.

"Nigga you said for yourself that you know I fixed your leg. All you gotta do is try to walk on it. Stop being a punk and get up." I said standing up as he shook his head no.

"David... you can't just not get up. You're a surgeon. You perform like 5 hour long surgeries at some points in your life. You need to get up to fully get your leg better!" I semi-yelled at him as he chuckled at me.

The heck is so funny? I ain't laughing...

"It's so cute when you're upset." He said as he continued to snicker.

I started to walk off.

"Ight whatever... hit me up when you're ready to walk." I said walking towards the door.

"Come gimme a kiss!" He semi-yelled as I fully walked out of the room ignoring him and shaking my head.

As I walked further down the hallway, I saw one of my besties.

"Dang he still ain't walking?" Keith asked as I shook my head no.

"He's too scared that he's not ready. I told him that he is. But, it's on him." I said as I saw Chris.

"Keith... you and the nurses can prep O.R 5 for the surgery. You can meet me in there." Chris said walking out of Ashton's room.

He hasn't talked to me, since our argument. So, at this point I guess we're not cool anymore. We literally just work together. Zoey has also been keeping her mouth shut. I guess she expected Chris to still stick around. But, it's not my business since Chris cut me out of his life.

"By the way, Ashton and his mom were asking for you personally." Chris said as I shook my head okay. I walked into Ashton's room with a half smile.

Chris' POV

I walked to the threshold of the door with Keith and I leaned against the wall.

Yeah, I ain't talking to her. You wanna fight me? You low key should because I deserve to be smacked.
