Spilling All The Tea?

Continuing in Jay' POV

"Wait, what? Stop playin... Dave ain't been with Zoey. Dave tell me that's he's joking right now." I said looking down at Dave as he avoided eye contact with me.

"I see Dr. East left out parts of the story... my bro had sex with Zoey, and I honestly don't even know who the baby's father would've really been. I ain't slept with Zo in a couple of months, so you can go figure." Chris said as the therapist helped Dave get up on his feet.

"David.... tell me that he's lying. Tell me that Chris is joking, because we said that we would tell each other everything. I told you about me and him... and you weren't man enough to tell me up front about you and Zoey!? Are you kidding me right now!?" I screamed out at him as he tried to reach for me. I jerked my body away and I stepped back from him.

"This whole time you've been lying to me David?! This whole time, you would've been the father of Zoey's child!? I've been out here looking stupid! I can't believe you lied to me... I'm done with you... we're done... don't call or text me... It's over." I said wiping my eyes and walking off down the hallway towards the elevator.

I heard him yell "Jay wait!"

But, I got onto the elevator, and I pressed the down button. I'm going home early, and I don't wanna be bothered.

Moniece's POV

"Wow...." I said running my fingers through my hair.

"Nigga look at what you did!" Dave semi-yelled as he went off on Chris.

"You brought this on yourself! Next time think before you lie!" Chris yelled back as I pushed Chris away from Dave.

I don't know how this is gonna work out... Now, Jay is single and she's open prey once again.

"Brown! East! In my office right now!" The Chief yelled out as they both groaned aloud in frustration.

As we watched them do the walk of shame towards his office, everyone went on with their work.

"My sis... I gotta check on her." I said checking the time on my watch.

"I'm about to clock out... its time for us to go home ... aka her house anyway. We did extra hours just because she was here. Plus, she's our ride, so let's go." Keith said as he walked towards the locker rooms with me.

My girl is out here hurtin' cause, once again, of these trashy niggas.

4 Hours Later in Jay's POV

I laid my head back on Keith's chest as I ate ice cream out of my tub that was in the freezer.

"Jay how much ice cream you gone eat? Yo stomach gone hurt." Keith said as I rolled my eyes.

"Why can't you just let me be happy with my ice cream? This is my comfort food. Let me live." I said still stuffing my face with it.

"Keith... we don't question our best friend when she's stressed and eating. Just let it happen." Moniece said as we all chuckled.

Dave has been blowing my phone up like crazy. Texting... calling... leaving voicemails and all of that other stuff. He's also confined to a hospital bed, so he ain't coming to me. I guess he also forgot that I've been the one taking care of him.
