The Next Day in Jay's POV

"He's really pissing me off Mo." I said to her as we sat in the cafeteria.

"I don't know wassup with him either girl." Moniece said as I saw him about to walk pass us.

"Dr. East..." I said as he kept walking.

"Dr. East...." I repeated louder as he didn't look back at me and he was about to walk out.

"David!" I semi-yelled... of course he instantly turned around to look at me... along with other eyes that belonged to surgeons and nurses.

"What?" He asked as I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Nigga don't what me..." I said getting up as he fully walked out.

"Girl don't go... he's just gonna piss you off even more." Mo said grabbing my arm as I sat back down.

"Bestie why I hear you yelling from across the lunch room." Keith asked as he came to sit next to me.

"Something's up with Dave... he's acting way too funny." I said as I shook my head. Keith wrapped his arm around my shoulder and I rested my head under his neck.

I've been going through it ever since that party was over. I was throwing up and I was sick last night, then boom. Chris comes and sends me drunk text messages about coming over. I mean yeah I'm happy that he broke up with Zoey, but I couldn't fully focus because of how sick I was.

When I went over there last night... we were both sick together. Nothing happened between us because I was throwing up and he was doing the same thing as me. We were both running back and forth to the bathroom. It was horrible. But, when we weren't puking, we were laughing at each other and watching movies. It honestly was an innocent night.

"He's probably on his man period right now. Just give him some time." Moniece said as I chuckled with Keith.

"Well y'all.. I gotta get going. I have to do surgery on this guy. The same guy that came in like two months ago talking about how his wife ran over his foot because he cheated. This time, she ran him over and he has several broken bones that I have to repair." I said as I stood up on my feet.

"What is wrong with this man and staying committed?" Keith asked as we all chuckled.

"The same thing that's wrong with the rest of you niggas." I said walking away laughing and shaking my head.

I feel like I'm gonna throw up again... my life is in shambles right now.

Zoey's POV

I see what I'm doing is working. I just saw Dave leave the cafeteria not even trying to communicate with Jay. I snapped a couple of pictures of Jay going into Chris' beach house last night.

He thought that I knew nothing about it, but I obviously keep a tracker on him. Chris broke up with me last night. I knew it was coming.

She came in and made my life miserable, so I'm gonna do the same for her. I'll be in the same operating room with her and Dave this afternoon repairing bones. This should be very interesting.

Dave's POV in the Operating Room

"I need more suction over here." I said talking to the assistant as she came over to my side of the bed.

I'm repairing the patient's leg, and Dr. Manali is repairing the patient's wrist.

"Wow... she totally crushed his wrist. She keeps running him over with her car, and he goes back to his regular cheating tactics." Jay said as some of the nurses laughed at her.
