"-Empire Strikes Back is the most iconic Star Wars film, aside from A New Hope, therefore, it is the best," Isabelle argued, after just finishing Empire Strikes Back she laid back on the couch with both Peter and Ned on the other side. How they grew slightly more comfortable around each other by just watching their favourite saga, although still nervous and often times she monitored what she was going to say before saying, Isabelle still found herself easing into comfort with Peter and Ned.

It was a breath of fresh air for her, being able to sit down with someone else and watch her favourite movies. Both Peter and Ned too felt similarly and were both quite offended on her opinion of the original trilogy. "What? No, Return of the Jedi was such a better way to end the series and tie up the loose ends." Ned retorted, the credits rolled on the Television screen behind them and the music was turned down so that they could argue properly.

"A New Hope had the greatest effects in film history - George Lucas is a Genius. And Empire Strikes Back wouldn't even exist without A New Hope." Peter joined in only for Isabelle to shut down him down instantly, "that may be true, but no one knew what a plot twist was until it's revealed that Darth Vader is Luke's father. I still state that Empire Strikes Back is the best Star Wars Movie."

This argument had been bouncing off the three for a while, it was almost as if it was their own geeky ways of getting to know each other. Of course, Peter needn't know anything about Ned because he knew everything about Ned. But he could pick up the awkwardness deterring in the atmosphere as the credits finally ceased on the Television, with silence accompanying them it wasn't as awkward as it could've been.

Once the three found themselves laughing, Isabelle flicked the channel over to cable as she was going to order dinner for the three. However, they got distracted upon seeing the news reporting live, a car chase in downtown Queens. Peter shifted in his spot as he held his backpack tightly in his hands so hard his knuckles turned white. He was itching to leave, to go and stop the pursuit.

Having enough of sitting around, Peter stood up abruptly swinging his bag over his shoulder, "I'm um... just going to go home... uh-uh and drop my stuff there - maybe change - I'll be back." He stammered and made a beeline for the door. Once he disappeared behind the door both Ned and Isabelle exchanged a glance. "That was weird, right?" She looked at him before looking over to where Peter previously stood.

"Yeah, he's been doing that lately - his Aunt thinks it might have to do with spontaneous erections-," Isabelle cut him off from speaking any further, "O-okay...I did not need to know that -- Just... Just forget I asked." Ned laughed nervously, he had a horrible habit of blurting the first thing that comes to his mind when he was nervous. Not that he had anything to be nervous about.

Peter on the other hand, as he darted through his apartment, quickly waving to May before slamming his bedroom door shut. "Hey, Pete? Is everything, all right?" May asked him through the door, worried upon seeing how flustered he was as he came rushing through the apartment. "Oh, wha - yeah of course! I'm - I'm actually staying at a friends house tonight, just packing... that's all." He assured her, chuckling nervously.

"Ned?" May questioned, she knew that Ned was his only best friend but thought it extremely odd to hear him refer to Ned's house as 'a friends house'. "N-no, I met our neighbour actually..." He struggled as he stripped himself of his clothes and replaced them with his own blue and red suit he had whipped up last minute. many months ago. "Oh!" May was pleasantly surprised to hear that Peter was spending time with a female, in fact, that made her feel incredibly glad that her nephew was starting to get female attention. "Her parents are okay with that?" May added, earning a groan from Peter.

"Yes, Ned's staying there too, it's fine. I'm just going to finish up here before I go." Peter finally managed to get the suit on, he held his mask in his hands as he waited for May to leave. He felt bad about keeping this particular secret from her, but after everything she's been through with Ben, he didn't want to burden her with that kind of secret. "All right then Pete. I'll keep leftovers in the fridge for you. Love you."

"Love you too," Peter called out, stuffing the mask over his face and headed to the window where he so often escaped to survey the streets for any criminal activity. He had hoped he was able to make it in time. Isabelle and Ned were discussing options for dinner, not particularly in the mood to cook she opted for uber eats instead. She was perusing the menu for something she was craving until Ned slammed his hand down on the couch, startling her but also getting her attention.

He pointed at the Television, a strained noise emitting from his throat as he could barely find the words to shout out. "Wait it's that spider-guy?" Isabelle leant closer to the television as the high-speed car chase was still very much happening, only now Spiderman had shown up to help the authorities. "mhmm." Ned nodded in response, not trusting any sound to come out of his mouth. He thought Spiderman was the coolest, and that was mainly because he looked out for people in Queens as best as he could.

Their very own hometown hero.

The two watched in anticipation, seeing the blue and red hero swing from building to building stylishly in order to catch to the car and slow it down. Witnessing first hand what this masked hero was capable of, Isabelle was impressed, to say the least. She understood why Tony had taken an interest in him. Coincidentally her phone vibrated, signalling she had received a text. When she pulled it out of her back pocket she wasn't particularly surprised it was from Tony.

Still no luck? - TS

She bit down on her lip as she swiftly jutted her fingers across the screen to type a response back to him.

Nope, I made some friends though. -IJ

Her gaze wandered up to the television and on Spiderman, watching him intently as if she was trying to spot anything in particular about the way he moved and how she could pick up on it at school. But alas, no, she couldn't find a limp, tick or gimmick that was overtly obvious.

Good for you. I'll be in and out of service the next couple of days, so if I don't answer immediately it's because of service. - TS

She chuckled at her mentor's message, her replies were always so quick but that was a given since she had her phone glued on her persons at all times. She was, after all, in a technologically advanced century where it would be impossible to get by without it.

Got it. - IJ

Pocketing her phone in her pocket she looked up at the moment Spiderman stopped the getaway car, locking the perpetrator in the car with spider webs sealing the doors shut. It was unclear to Isabelle if Spiderman was able to produce webs themselves or not, but she'd find out in due time. And she'd find out a lot more.
