Steve and Sam help Isabelle out of the Van once they were ordered to exit. It was an uncomfortable journey given that the task force only delt in motor vehicles and sent several cars to retrieve them. So it was a silent and uncomfortable seventeen-hour drive back to Berlin. Her wrists were bound separately with an extremely painful set of cuffs created by non-other than Tony Stark himself. The cuffs produced negative energy pulses which prevented her from doing anything out of the ordinary aside from drawing power from the one thing that kept her alive."Hey - are you all right?" Steve whispers, his eyes looking down to her sloppily tended wounds and bloodstained shirt. She gives him a reassuring smile, "if you had asked me about thirteen hours ago I would've said an answer you wouldn't like... but it's fine now... I'm okay." He nods and guides her away from the van where they were greeted by several people, including Sharon.
Steve glances back to Bucky before averting his attention to the man beside Sharon. "What's gonna happen to him?" He questions, not bothering with all the pleasantries. "Same thing that ought to happen to you. Psychological Evaluation and extradition." He was rather blunt in response, almost cold-hearted in his words. He didn't particularly care for any of the three in front of him.
"This is Everett Ross, deputy Task Force Commander." Sharon introduced after seeing the puzzled look on Isabelle and Sam's face toward the man. "What about a lawyer?" Steve raises his brow. Sam and Isabelle remain partly silent, only reacting in facial expressions and eye glances. "Lawyer. That's funny. See their weapons are placed in lockup. Make sure the girl is getting the right chemical dosage for ability cancellation. We'll write you a receipt."
The three tense up, Isabelle goes wide-eyed as several men walk toward her. "You are not putting anything in my body. Step away and there won't be any problems." She threatened, stepping away from the men that tried to flood around her. "Leave her. Make sure she's on watch." Ross orders and walks through the hangar and carport toward the main building.
"You'll all be provided with an office instead of a cell. Now, do me a favour and stay in it." Ross explains as they walk over a fortified bridge to the east building, a large group of men accompanied them as they continued to be briefed and walked. Natasha joins the group and looks at both Steve then Isabelle. "For the record, this is what making things worse looks like. And now you'll have to answer to Tony why Issie is sliced up - He wants to speak with you, Iz. First."
"Can I make a call?" Isabelle ignores the statement and asks openly, earning a scoff from Ross, "this isn't a police station, you gave up your right to make a phone call the second you acted out in Bucharest." She grimaces and grits her teeth, having not contacted Peter for two days she was sure he was in a panic even though she was perfectly fine.
They are directed into a room where Tony Stark was, on the phone talking to presumably the press or the secretary of state. "Try not to break anything while we fix this." Natasha orders, giving a pointed look at the three. "-Consequences? You bet there'll be consequences." Tony's attention was now at the three in front of him, he pauses while the person on the other line speaks.
His gaze is harsh on all three and more prominently on Isabelle. "Obviously you can quote me on that, because I just said it. Anything else?" there was a brief pause, "thank you, sir." Tony finishes and ends the call. Steve looks to both Sam and Isabelle before raising a brow, "Consequences?"
"Secretary Ross wants you both prosecuted and this one in juvenile detention. Had to give him something." Isabelle's jaw clicks with a certain amount of anger. "I'm not getting that shield back, am I?" Steve questions, Natasha spins in her spot and shrugs with a small smile, "technically it's the government's property. Wings too." Isabelle scoffs, "What does that make me?"
