(A/N: so I reference Pulp Fiction a in the first half a lot bc well, its a great film i fucking love it tbh hahaha if any of you guys haven't seen the scene im talking about later on just look up Pulp Fiction 'I want to dance' and you can take a look for yourselves. P.S those biology questions I had no fucking clue if those are the right answer lmaoooo sourced it off a website so lmao who knows)

"Movement of cell against concentration gradient is called?" Peter read from the flash cards in preparation for the biology test next week. He laid across the end of Isabelle's bed, while she laid on her back, staring up at the ceiling. "Hmmm...active transport." She answered confidently. "Correct, all right.... Prokaryotic cells lack?"

She brought her bottom lip in between her teeth as she searched her brain for the answer, remembering the answers were in the textbook chapter she had just read, "they lack... nucleus, nuclear membrane.... and... membrane bound by organelles." She looked over at Peter for confirmation, a little less confident with her answer. He nodded and smiled, "correct! Issie, I don't know why you're stressing over this, you've got this in the bag."

Sitting up she shrugged, "I just want to be sure y'know." Peter discarded the cards and smiled kindly at her but he was aware not to be too 'friendly' after his slight revelation earlier in the afternoon. After he admitted to Ned he might have more feelings for Isabelle than he thought, he decided that rather than do anything about it right now he'd sleep on it and see how he felt in the morning. "You have nothing to worry about, Issie. Seriously, you're in AP biology - you know your stuff." He assured her which made her smile, she looked away with a slight blush forming on her cheeks.

"Well I don't know about you but I've got a headache, you wanna watch pulp fiction?" Isabelle suggested, her head tilted to the side as she looked at Peter. "Uh yeah - as if you have to ask me that." He stood up, a crooked grin on his face and she lit up, "well who knows, you big nerd - maybe you wanted to do that Social Studies and Economics assignment that's due in like two months."

He put a hand on his heart, feigning offence, "ouch. That hurt." She shrugged and laughed, walking out of her room, "Don't tell me you weren't already thinking about starting it though, I know you were." She teased playfully, while it was true that Peter was indeed already planning who he was basing his assignment around - said person being Tony Stark and how he's changed society. "You've got me there," Peter admitted, following her out of her room and into the lounge room.

Swiftly, Isabelle's places the disk into the player and flicks off the lights to make the movie more immersive. Both teens sat on the couch, a blanket thrown over their torsos as they sprawl out, Isabelle's legs stretched over Peters as she slouched back comfortably as the movie played. Her eyes trained on the screen as her favourite scene came on, Peter always noticed when her favourite scenes popped up by the way her eyes glimmered and the smile on her face.

She turned her head and noticed Peter looking at her, she blushed madly, grateful for the dark room they were in, "what?" Feeling self-conscious and bring the blanket up to her chin. Peter's heart hammered in his chest and his mouth hung open slightly. "Oh - uh... heh... um... n-nothing..." he stammered, wide eyed and starting to sweat. "Weirdo." She shoved him slightly in the stomach with her foot making him laugh and slap away her leg.

"Hey! I am not weird!" He defended, she hushed him with her finger, "shush - this is the best bit! I love this scene." Her eyes soon fell back onto the screen, a smile pulled on her lips as she observed the iconic scene of John Travolta's character and Uma Thurman's character, Vincent and Mia eating in at the Jack Rabbit Slims Diner about to do enter the twist competition. "Do you know it off by heart or something, huh?" Peter teased making her turn her attention back to him, "so what if I do? You know what, C'mon let's do this - right here right now, Parker."
