School had been average for Isabelle, aside from her little quest trying to figure out which teacher is the masked hero. She started with the librarian when she borrowed a book and very subtly touched the older ladies hands when she passed it over to her. That wasn't successful, so she then tried her physics teacher, as he was walking past her she grabbed his hand to get his attention but that was no use either.

By the end of the day she had caressed and stroked too many teachers hands for her liking, she even tried the Janitor and the lunch lady. When school ended she hadn't hesitated to call Tony about her endeavour with only four teachers remaining to test.

"Well it's got to be those four you haven't tried yet... I gotta say Issie you really surprised me." Tony chuckled, she slung her backpack over her shoulder and rolled her eyes, "well you're the one who made me caress thirty of the faculties hands. And what if it's not one of the teachers?" She started walking outside where the sounds of loud chattering students boomed in her other ear.

She struggled to hear Tony but managed to stand near a tree which shielded some of the noise. "Well then it's got to be a student.." He answered her and she groaned, "don't tell me you're going to make me touch over eight-hundred students to find out."

"That's exactly what you're going to do. He's someone at that school for sure, didn't you say something about joining track? Start with the jocks, he's got to be athletically inclined to be able to swing from buildings." Isabelle sighed, kicking her feet at the grass below her feet. "-Or he could be literally anyone, what if he is actually a she? Or they could be an average looking kid with superpowers, Tony this is like finding a needle in a haystack."

He chuckled on the other end of the phone, "good thing I got the right girl to do the job then. You're smart, Issie. I trust you'll figure it out." She noticed Peter and Ned walking over toward her hesitantly, she made a noise in displeasure. Not aimed toward the two boys no, but aimed at her mentor. "What you're asking me to do is going to take months, I hope you realise that - anyway I gotta go dad see you later."

She quickly ended the call and pocket her phone, smiling at the boys faintly. "What's the - uh... plan?  my... dad... just called - looks like he won't be home for the weekend."  She chuckled nervously, "I mean we could hang at my place... or -- or wherever... not like I have a curfew now anyway."

Both boys looked at each other, their hands getting clammy from sweat and their breath hitched from nerves. A girl just asked them to go to her house, to hang out. They were positive they just heard it wrong  but she continued to speak, "-I have the Star Wars Original Trilogy if you guys... um... want to watch it?" She scratched the back of her neck nervously, she wasn't sure what it was, but talking to anyone her age was always more daunting than adults.

Or maybe it was the fact that she thought Peter Parker was cute, but she was less flustered and embarrassed touching teachers hands than talking to Ned and Peter. "Uh-um.. y-yeah.." Peter stammered looking to his friend for an answer. Ned couldn't even say anything, he simply nodded. Thinking how his mother would absolutely flip at the thought of him actually going to a girls house, even if he was with Peter.

"Cool, well... let's go." She smiled and started heading to the train station with Ned and Peter following her, typically the two would spend their Friday nights geeking out over the latest comic book, or tinkering with some old technology so a Friday night spent with a girl at a girl's house was different. Now that she was to be here longer than expected, she didn't seem so apprehensive to start a friendship with Ned and Peter.

Once the two boys had gotten over the fact that they were actually going to Isabelle's, the three piled into the train which was a tight squeeze. A grimace formed on her face which was amusing to both Peter and Ned. Isabelle had never been one for public transport, the large crowds in a tight fitting space made her feel claustrophobic. A fear she had developed since the Battle of New York.

The train ride to her station was all but eventful, it was similarly like a game of human Tetris at one point, being that over crowded and having to shuffle around made Isabelle nauseous and uncomfortable. She was incredibly relieved to have stepped off and out of the train, it was as if she held her breath the entire time she was in there.

Queens at this time of the day was always bustling with activity, but being used to this area in particular, Peter had no problem weaving in and out of crowds of people. In fact, the closer Isabelle lead them to her home the more familiar the surroundings appeared to both boys. Peter never realised she moved so close to him and Aunt May.

An awkward, panic stricken noise clambered out of Peter's mouth when he saw her walk into the very same apartment building he also lived in. "Wait - you live here?" Ned asked nervously, gesturing slightly to the walls of the apartment building around them. She turned and nodded, by confirming it, both boys wheezed a panic stricken noise out. Luckily she hadn't heard and kept walking up.

The whole situation was strange, they barely knew Isabelle and yet they were walking to her house with her that coincidentally was right across the hall from Peter and May's apartment. While strange it was, they couldn't blame her for wanting friends and in fact underneath all the nervousness and awkward laughs the boys were quite honoured that she chose to talk to them and hang out.

"Dude - are we not going to talk about how she's your neighbour!" Ned slapped Peters arm, his tone was hushed so that Isabelle wouldn't hear. "Shh... yeah - well I suppose it turned out well, if she chose to hang out with flash then that would be awkward." Peter whispered in response, they watched her unlock her door unknowingly ignorant to the fact that one of the boys she had with her lived right across from her.

Despite the fact that they lived in the same apartment building, Isabelle's appeared far more lavish than his and May's. Courtesy of Tony Stark, he had a week to upgrade the apartment to suit her knowing that she'd do the mission in the first place. "Wow - man, this is cooler than your apartment." Ned blurted out loud, grabbing Isabelle's attention, her bright hazel eyes scanned the two boys with a faint smile on her face.

"You live in an apartment too?" She raised an eyebrow, nervously fiddling with her jacket chords. In a moment of panic both boys answer her, Peter chuckling nervously as Ned blurts out simultaneously.

"U-uh yeah, not too far actually-"

"He lives across the hall-"

A smile ghosted over her lips as she witnessed the two blush. It was reassuring for her to witness both boys just as nervous as she felt, in fact the three of them were as equally as awkward and nervous as each other which is why they gravitated to each other.

Peter and Ned locked eyes, arguing silently with their facial expressions and eyes. Isabelle's faint laugh broke them away from their silent war and they tried to play it off cool even though it was far from 'cool'.

"Well...are we starting with episode four or episode one?" She asked, her brow raised, if she were to watch them she'd watch them chronologically from how they were made, as strange as it seemed she just liked to see the difference of technology on film back the and now.

"One of course, gotta start from the beginning." Ned snorted slightly, that was his inner geek showing, he almost forgot he was in the presence of a girl who was pretty and he barely knew. As soon as he said those words he shied away immediately, it would take some time but it was definite that the three would become great friends.
