It had been a tough and tense day and a half for the Avengers team, even more so now that Steve was on edge given the recent passing of Peggy Carter. He kept to himself while he packed his bags for London to attend the funeral held in her honor, only confiding in Sam if need be. When Isabelle had returned from Peter's, boy, did she receive an earful from Tony who was on edge due to the tension only rising in the building.
Natasha was preparing to head off to Vienna in two days for the United Nations meeting discussing the accords with the definite Signatures of herself, Tony, Vision, and Rhodey. Wanda had kept herself secluded from the team, staying in her room and only ever conversing with Vision if necessary. This had become a problem for half of the team, with Wanda, Steve, and Sam showing their reluctance to sign the accords it had torn a rift in the Avengers.
Isabelle had shown no desire to move for it or against which was also another problem as there was only two ways she could follow, one being that of the most legal choice and the other deeming her as a threat to the country and entire world. She had been in her room for the most part of several hours, Tony assumed it was finishing off homework or reading as she never tended to do anything bad.
Tony stood propped against the kitchen counter, his arms folded and looking at Natasha, "this is a problem - you can't go off to the UN meeting with just four signatures -- sorry I meant five since the other fifth person is in her room doing god knows what after disappearing for a day." Natasha looked at him with a warning glance, "Tony... You know Steve isn't in the right head space to make any feasible decision... if you provoke him it'll make matters worse - and Issie didn't go anywhere you know she just went to Peter's... it's the only other place she goes."
"It would've been nice if she had just told someone - who knows what trouble she could've gotten herself in." He pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. "Careful now, the wrong person will think you actually care about someone who isn't yourself and we can't have that now, can we?" Natasha teased and shoved his arm slightly, "c'mon, nothing is getting done anytime soon - I'll go get everyone and we can have a final level headed meeting about the remaining signatures."
He nodded and remained in his position by the counter while Natasha opted to gather the rest of the team. She decided to try Steve first, and to no surprise, Sam was helping him pack his things. Lightly knocking on the door frame, she leaned up against it and smiled kindly at the two, "if it isn't too much trouble Tony's calling another meeting."
Sam looked up at her, as did Steve but shrugged, "and what? we're supposed to make up our minds after only a day?" Natasha shook her head, "you don't have to say anything - but if you just listen then maybe... maybe you can come to a decision you like." Her words were tempting, to say the least, however, Steve and Sam were mercenaries and they had proven to be quite stubborn to suggestion. "I think we'll listen fine down here." Sam folded his arms and eyed Natasha who nodded and stepped away from the door frame.
She wasn't going to provoke anyone, knowing it would only lead down a path of further tension. Continuing down the hallway of bedrooms, stopping in at Wanda's, she seemed just as reluctant yet dragged herself up and out toward the kitchen. Vision hadn't even needed to be told as he was already on the move alongside Rhodey and lastly Natasha stopped by Isabelle's room. Rapping lightly on her door she opened it and smiled upon seeing the girl in a strange position with a book in her hands.
School work littered the end of the girl's bed, pencils and pens spilled out from her pencil case and onto the floor. It was a right mess, but it would easily clean up nice. "Hey Iz, good book?" Natasha raised a brow, the girl's eyes looked up and over the top of the book at her and she nodded, putting her bookmark in place and setting the book to the side as she changed positions to a far more comfier position.
