(I did a little sketch as to what she looks like as her hero alias - also I have a name for her stocked away and will be revealed later ) xxxx

Puffing out a frustrated sigh Isabelle crosses off yet another name from her list as she stands at her locker. It was now Thursday which also meant that she had been a student at Midtown for a week and while she may not know it yet she was starting to yearn for more normality in her life after only experiencing it for a week. Classes were now done for the day, having successfully completed a calculus test in the early morning and track practice during her lunch break ensuring that as she passed through the halls she 'bumped' into the right people.

Since Monday she had crossed out over two hundred names, and yet there was no result that gave her the answer she searched for. She checked the remaining names on her list, the numbers dwindled day by day and not a single person she encountered was the one she was looking for. It was frustrating for her, to say the least.

However, those frustrations were soon diminished upon Peter greeting her, as per usual after school the two would walk to the train station just outside of school and walk home together. A ritual they began since Monday. "Hey, How'd you go on the Calc test?" Peters warm eyes met her bright green ones, she merely shrugged, Calculus was her less favourable subjects. "Probably flunked it, if you ask me." She shut her locker closed and adjusted her backpack strap over her shoulder.

"Then I'd suggest maybe less snoozing in class." Peter eyed her, a slight smirk formed on his lips. Since the weekend, Peter had grown far more comfortable around Isabelle which they were both thankful for. Didn't take away from the fact that whenever he was with her he couldn't help but be a bumbling mess sometimes. She feigned offence as they walked out of the school together, "I don't snooze...I just...Read the back of my eyelids - that's where my notes are."

"Oh uh-huh. Whatever you say, Issie." The two crossed over the track field without causing disruption as there was no training going on this afternoon, and it was rather refreshing for Peter to walk past without hearing the overbearing voice of Flash Thompson. "Why do you even care anyway, you're top of the class smart ass. Scared that I might top your scores in my sleep?"

Peter raised a brow at her, hearing the challenge in her voice, something he noticed when he spent more and more time around her. She was sarcastic, which he never would've guessed based off of the first impression. "For that comment, I'll make sure I'm better at everything than you." He quipped back, all in good fun, he enjoyed how relaxed yet stressed out Isabelle made him feel.

Relaxed because she was calming - most of the time - and her presence was warming, yet he always felt somewhat stressed around her because he tried incredibly hard not to stutter and stammer when he looked over at her and her eyes would meet his, or how hard it was not to blush when she laughed at something he said, or how hard it was to not stare when she would talk to Ned about Star Wars and her complete and utter hatred for Ben Affleck's portrayal of Batman.

Yet, despite all this, he still claimed to himself and to Ned, that Liz Allan was the one he wanted. Who he's been yearning for, for the longest of time. He couldn't quite grasp the concept of developing feelings for someone in little less than a week, he'd only known Isabelle for seven days and he's known Liz Allan for little over a year.

"Well... that might be half true but I'm the better runner.." She trailed off, a suggestive glint in her eyes that made Peter flustered as he let out a groan, "I'm not run-." Too late, she picked up her feet and they carried her quickly as she got closer to the station, Peter too picked up his feet, desperate to catch up to her. Oh, How he wished people knew what he did during the night and how he could so easily beat her to prove her wrong, but that wasn't who Peter was. He never did anything out of spite or to prove someone wrong, he did things because he wanted the world to be a better place.
