"You're much younger than Steve described." Clint squinted at the girl standing on his front porch. He didn't bother to comment on how much like hell she looked, given that looking like hell was a prerequisite to being an Avenger. "Unfortunately that's something I can't help - but you can help us... What did Steve tell you?" She asked, tilting her head to the side and keeping her body language open.
He shrugged, leaning himself up against the door frame with his arms folded, "something about... winter soldiers... impending doom... you know, regular stuff." He chuckled lightly, he was most definitely going to soak in the glory of being asked for help considering he was retired and that meant Steve was desperate. "Sounds about right... Do you think you could help us?"
Looking down, Clint laughed to himself, "You know... if Steve came here on his own I would've passed the opportunity up, but I know what he's doing... sending you here to convince me, kid. I don't even know who you are. And as far as the news is concerned with Steve Rogers, Sam Wilson, Bucky Barnes and an unnamed female vigilante that goes by the name of Scavenger, they are all criminals."
"Isabelle Jones." She introduced herself, offering a hand to shake and he does so. "Thought you were Starks kid?" Clint raised a brow with a sly smile, Isabelle returns the smile, "Thought you didn't know who I was?" She clapped back with a victorious look on her face. He retracted his hand and pointed at her, "you are definitely Starks kid... So... you guys need my help to ward off five of these Hydra super soldiers?"
"Preferably kill them, but warding off will temporarily do the job." Clint chuckled at her, he thought for a moment, the pros and cons of leaving his family to do this. How it'll most likely make him a criminal like the rest of them but if it meant saving the world in doing so he'd gladly take up the opportunity. "This'll make me a criminal, right?" Clint asked, despite knowing the answer. "mmhmm." She hummed with a nod.
He sighed knowing that this was the exact reason Steve had so deviously planted the teenage girl in his midst. He couldn't say no to her, not with how she was looking. "If I do tag along, Cap owes me one. Big time. You know that right?" Clint pushed off the door frame as Isabelle nodded once more, "You know I'm not really getting a yes or no from you - are you in or not?"
The comment made him laugh and shake his head, "yeah - clearly there's something wrong for Tony's own kid to diss him like this - C'mon inside while I go explain to my children and wife why I'm skipping out on waterskiing with them this weekend." He ushered her inside and she looked around at the quaint household, children's toys, picture frames, everything that would say how mundane the house was. Aside from the former Avenger operative residing in it.
"Honey... we've got a visitor." Clint called out, not too long footsteps were heard as his wife appeared and smiled, although that smile soon dropped upon seeing the girl. "God - are you okay? Is she okay? Let me guess... Shield or Avengers?" She questioned making Isabelle smile, "I'm fine, thank you though... Avengers, actually... we're in a bit of a situation."
Laura smiled and looked knowingly at her husband, "told you they needed you more than they lead on." Clint chuckled and nodded, there was always a general Bias toward Clint given he was the only one in the Avengers team to not be enhanced in the slightest, only equipped with his extremely good eye and talent of always getting the perfect shot. Sure Tony was just as human as he was but then again, Tony had undergone cybernetic enhancements with the Arc Reactor - which he no longer possesses now-.
"I think you should go and help them, the kids will understand... The world needs you once again." Laura encouraged her husband. He smiles at her, wrapping an arm around her waist and pressing his lips to hers, Isabelle looked at the two admiringly at their relationship. One day Isabelle wanted that, but she was only fifteen and thinking that far ahead would do her no good.
