Chapter 9
*Athena's Point of View*
My day was quite calm until I felt a hard tap on my shoulder. I turned my hair slightly to see Skylar behind me. Her face was hard and eyes filled with anger. "You have to take every guy I want, don't you?! Still a slut I see." I gave a look of confusion which only seemed to fuel her anger. "Don't act clueless, you bitch. I'm talking about Nathan!"
"Nathan is my friend. Either way, I don't have to give you an explanation." I closed my locker and was about to walk away until she yanked my backpack. "What do you want? He's not your boyfriend so you can't control him."
She took a large step towards me, getting all up in my face. "He's mine, stay away from him. I won't hesitate to beat you, Athena." Skylark growled into my face, I simply smiled.
"If he knew what's good for him, he would stay away. I highly doubt he wants any disease that you are infested with." I commented, her eyes grew dark and she landed a slap on my face. I laughed softly, it didn't affect me.
I felt a smirk grow on my lips, "the first hit is free. Try again and I will smash your head into the floor, Skylar." My words were drenched in venom. She raised her hand, about to smack me but I grabbed her hand. I tighten my grip on her wrist, her face scrunched in pain. Skylar tried to use her other hand to attack but failed.
I pushed her away and tried to walk away from the possible fight. She had other plans and pulled me back by my backpack again. I let the heavy bag slide off my back, making her stumble from the sudden weight. "Now you are getting on my nerves," I snapped at her. I wanted to walk away, walked away from the stress. Skylar knew she wanted a fight so she let her backpack fall to the ground next to mine. Her hand was raised to punch me, I grabbed it and used it to spin her around.
Once she was completely turned around, I pulled her hair and made her hit the ground. The sound of her hitting the tile made a large echo through the hallway. I jumped on her, punching her nose and face. My hands were filled with Skylar's blood. I stood up and looked around, there was a crowd surrounding us. My heart beat was getting faster every second as my eyes scanned the crowd. I felt like a monster, yet I felt quite satisfied.
They all stared at me, waiting for my next move. I didn't realize Skylar got up until she pushed me to the floor and got on top of me. I allowed her to get a few shots in, to give her some confidence. "You deserve to die a painful death, all alone. I hope I'm there to watch it. I can't believe I was friends with such a shitty human being. Thank god I lucked out and got pretty so I could leave that friendship. Now, look at me, so beautiful and popular. And you, Athena, are still a fucked up freak. At this point, you should just kill yourself, do us all a favor." She spat in my face. My heart felt like it was about to explode as I pushed her off of me. I moved away from her and leaned against the lockers.
Pain ran through my veins, I wanted to sleep. I felt my eyes close as I heard someone yelling my name.

*Nathan's Point of View*I was walking to my math class when I heard screaming at the other end of the hall. I looked up and saw a crowd, I got curious and went to see what was going on. My ears perked up when I heard 'Athena' being screamed. I pushed through the crowd to see Skylar on top of Athena. Skylar's face was filled with blood and many cuts, her nose was constantly leaking blood. It was most likely broken.
She was throwing punches but it didn't seem to damage to Athena. She laid there, waiting for her to get tired. "At this point, you should just kill yourself, do us all a favor." Skylar spat in Athena's face.
