I wake up to hearing yelling..

I slowly wake up.. Lance?

"Finely, Sleeping Beauty woke up! Kate, get ready! You told me that you want to go to your Mom's place." Lance is yelling.

"...sorry.." I sat up and rub my eyes.

"Come on!" Lance pushes me up.

"Okay, okay.." I walk to my closet and grab some stuff. I walk into the bathroom.
I got bandage my breasts up, put my hair into a bun and put a beanie on it.
I put on a red sweater and a black skinny jeans.
I walked out of the bathroom.

"Oooo! You look better than ever!" Lance smiled at me.

"Thanks?" I got confused why Lance complimented me.

I put my laptop and some other stuff into my backpack.

"Okay, let's go." I started to walk out of the dorms with Lance. I locked my dorm room door.

"So why do you need to go back to your house?"

"I already told you."

"I forgot."

"Well, I need to check up with my mother." I answered.

"Why can't you just call her or text her?" Lance still keep asking.

"My mom is busy and she doesn't have any phone connections." I answer while going into the parkour.

"Oh okay.." Lance unlocks the car and we both get in.

"So where does your mom live?"

"Uhh... 7692 West Coast."

"Okay, got it." Lance starts the car. We started to drive into the freeway. Lance was singing Beyoncé for the all time.

When Lance got to my mom's house, Lance walk me to my front door.

"Again, thank you for the ride."

"Hey, no problem!" Lance smile at me.

I knock on my door. My mom opens it.

"Kate!" Mom hugs me.

"Mom!" I smile and hug her back.

"Who's this?" Mom lets go of me and look at Lance and I
"Are you two a thing?" Mom asks.

I look at Lance and we started to laugh.

"No, we are not dating. We're friends. I just gave Kate a ride here." Lance said while to stop to laugh.

"Oh okay, thank you for taking my daughter here."

"No problem. See ya on Tuesday!" Lance wave goodbye and gets to his car. I walk into my home. Mom walks into her room. The same as ever. Small house, but filled of memories.

I put my shoes on the shoe ranch near the front door. I put my bag onto the couch.

Knock.. knock.. knock..

"Can you get it!?" Mom yells from her room.

"Yeah!" I yell back.

I walk back to the door and unlocks it.

Lance?

"I am so sorry, but my car broke down."

"Omg. Come in." I let Lance in.

Lance takes off his shoes and sits on the couch.

"So what happened?"

"Since I never usually never use my car. My car's temperature got too hot and now I have to wait until cools off."
