Veronica's pov
I wake up at 5:00 in the morning. My mind is keeping me up. I get up and grab my phone and scroll through my social medias. I looked at my old friends Instagram. They are all so sallow now. I changed for the better. The crowd I run with now is such a better crowd I ran with in New York. It's 7:09 am. I got dressed and I walked into my moms room. "Mom I'm gonna go see Archie. I'm going to take your car." I tell her. "Ok" she says all groggy.
I drive to the hospital, and then walk up to the front desk. "I'm here to she Archie Andrews. I was here yesterday my name is Veronica lodge."  I tell the nurse at the front desk. "Ok I'll let you right in."  I walk to Archie's room. "I crack the door open. "Hay Archiekins." I say.  "Veronica!" He say with a little laugh.  "Where's your dad?" I ask him. "He is not coming back till tomorrow." He says. "Do Betty and Jughead know your here?" I ask him. "Yeah they came last night after you left."  He tells me. "So, do you want me to stay here tonight to keep you company?" I ask him. "If you wouldn't mind." He says with a smile on his face. "I would love to archiekins."

Archie's pov
Veronica walks over to me and sits on a empty spot on my bed. She looks over at me and kisses me. We then have an old fashion make out session.  She so beautiful. She grabs my hand with the bandage around. "How's your hand feeling?" She asks me. "Better." I say. She kisses my hand and lays it back down. "So my father is coming back at the end of the month." Veronica says. "Isn't that good?" I ask Ronnie. "No after I found out all he's done. And how he threatened me."  She tells me.  "It's ok Ronnie." I tell her. Kiss her on the shoulder. "So about my shirt. I'm I every going to get that back?" I ask. "Because that's like my only formal shirt."  I tell her. "Soon enough archiekins." She said with a smirk on face.  "I'm getting discharged tomorrow morning." I say. "Good archiekins." With a smile on her face.
Hours later
Archie's pov
I had fallen asleep due to the medication that they had given me.  I look to my right and I see Veronica sleeping in the chair. She was so beautiful. I think we're a good pair. We sing good together. She worries about me. I think its cute.

Veronica pov
I walk up with a doctor in the room. "Is something wrong?" I say with a worried face. "No I'm just doing a check up on him before he leaves tomorrow. " the doctor said on his face. "Everything looks ok. No activity involving running, throwing, picking up heavy objects for a least a week." The doctor says with a Stern face. "So no sports." Archie said with a sad look on his face. "No sports, if you go to school try not to do anything." The doctor says leaving. "It will be ok archiekins. You can go back to being a football player in a week." I tell him. After a while he falls asleep again. I walk over to his bed and kiss him on his cheek. Then crawl up on the chair and fall asleep. I walk up to Archie out of bed and packing up his stuff. He's wearing jeans and no shirt. I get up and grab his waist from behind. "Your up." He said with a smile. "Aren't you supposed to be lying down?" I ask him while he turns around. I see his scar on his chest from the bullet, but then act like I wasn't looking. I wrap my arms around his torso. "No I'm fine." He replies with a smile on his face. We start to kiss. Than Fred walks in. I walk back to the chair. "Dad! Please, work on your timing. " Archie said laughing. "Sorry Mr.Andrews." I said as my cheeks were blushing.

Fred pov
I walked in on Archie and Veronica kissing for the second time in 2 days. I should probably start knocking more. It seems like they really like each other. "Well are you ready to go home Archie?" I ask him. "Yeah." Archie states. "Veronica do need a ride?" I ask her. "Yeah, if you wouldn't mind. My mom took the car this morning." She told me. "Alright lets go." I grabbed Archie's bag carried it out. When we were walking to the car I looked back and saw that Archie and Veronica were holding hands. When we got to the car I put Archie's bag in the front seat and Veronica sat in the back with Archie. On the way driving back to my house I looked in the mirror and saw Veronica's head on Archie's shoulder, they were holding hands. He's finally realized what's right. This is a huge step up from Ms.Grundie. I'm proud.

Veronica pov
We walk in his house and go up stairs. He sat down on his bed, I shut the door and sat next to him. "How are you feeling?" I ask Archie. "Good, for having a jacked up hand and 2 days post surgery."  He said. "That's good." I said with a small smile. "I'll be ok Ronnie, nothing bad will happen to me. It was a robbery gone wrong." He tell her. "I know, but you almost died." I said with glossy eyes. "Yeah but, I didn't. Look at me I'm fine." He told me. He kissed me than brought me into a huge.
