To budding and trembling relationships

Veronica's pov
I woke in Archie's bed with him in it. His arm was around me. I carefully moved his arm and got out of his bed. I checked my phone and it's almost 12:00 am. So I got all my stuff and before I left his room and I kissed him on the cheek and made my way down the stairs. Thankfully Fred was up stairs. I unlocked the door and then locked again and left. It was like a 20 min walk so I wasn't really worried walking alone. Once I got back home my mom was waiting on the couch. "Where have you been Veronica?" My mom asks me. "Me and Archie were hanging out and I fell asleep and I guess he did too." I tell her. "What do you mean by "hanging out"?" She asks me. "Nothing we were talking and stuff. I promise nothing happened." I say. "Ok mjia." She said she got up and kissed me on the head and I went to bed.

1 week later
Archie's pov
Today is my first day back at school. I get to play football my doctor cleared me. I walk with Betty to school and once we got there every one is patting me on the back. Well very boring hours went by until lunch. I sat next to Veronica and Betty sat next to jughead and Kevin.  Betty and jughead are trying to figure out who shot me.

Veronica's pov
Betty and jughead are talking at lunch and trying to figure out who shot Archie. I look Archie's face and he looks worried/upset. I grab his hand under the table and rub his hand with my thumb. He looks at me and gives me a small smile. I sit closer to him and rest my head and his shoulder. "You guys are so cute." Betty says smiling. "Thanks B." I said with a smile. We ate and went back to class. Classes were a real drag. Then I had to go to cheer practice. I'm now the captain sense Cheryl gave me her HBIC shirt and named me as leader. We went over the new moves for the next game. Once that was over me and Betty walked to her house. "Can I tell you something?" Betty asked me. "Yeah anything B." I tell her. "So the night of the jubilee me and jughead went back to his dads and he said I love you to me." Betty said. "Aww you guys are such a good couple." I say. I saw Betty smile a little. "After that we almost did it but we heard a knock at the door, we thought was my mom so he went to open it while I got dressed. It was a bunch of serpents. They handed him a jacket and said something about being a family. " Betty continued saying. "What did he do?" I asked with a shocked face. "He put it on." She said. "Oh my god! What is he thinking!"  I yell. "I don't know but, we haven't talked about us since." She said. "I'm so sorry B." I said giving her a hug. "I'm fine V, how is your new budding relationship with Archie?" She asked me with a smirk on her face. "Well..... me and Archie-" I said getting interrupted by Betty. "No way!" She said. "Yeah!" I reply with. Then we realize that we're girlying out so then we stop then start talking about something else.

Sorry it took me forever to update this chapter but at least it's going up. I'm juggling two stories and I'm doing a horrible job keeping up with both so I'm trying. But anyways I'm trying to put new information about season two into this story so it's not all over the place. Im not to sure about this chapter but I'll make a better one next time. Anyways I'm rambling so till next time.
