Archie's pov
It's been a couple days since New Years, the guilt about kissing Betty was getting heavy.

I've been not answering Ronnie's texts or calls, soon she's coming to start coming over. So what if I left town maybe it would be better for everyone. I'll just get s taxi to a town out side of green dale.

So that's what I'll do, I'll leave town. So in the middle of the night I filled my back pack up and left town.

Veronica's pov
Archie's been so weird ever since after the news years party which was weird that night went perfect (if I do say so myself). He's not answering any of my texts or calls and it's getting annoying, because I may have been drunk on so many levels but I still spilled out my feelings to him.

So I was going to go over to his house and yell at him for being an ass, but later I have to wake up and get ready. But first I wanted to read.

So I was in Archie's riverdale sports department sweater that he left in my room sometime ago, and leggings. I had my glasses resting in the bridge of my nose and a thick book in my hands. And my hair up in a cute but messy bun.

My mom came in my room with her phone in her hands, and a worried and concerned face. "What's wrong mom?" I ask putting my book mark in and closing the book.

She sighs loudly and sits in my bed next to me. "That was Fred on the phone honey." She tells me. " and?" I ask. She just looks at me like I'm too fragile to know.

"Is Archie okay?" I ask getting super worried. "Archie's missing." She blurts out. I just immediately take off my glasses, and quickly rip off the duvets and get out of bed. "Honey What are you doing?"

"I'm going to go find Archie."I say without hesitation. "Are you crazy no one even knows where he is." My mom says. "That's too bad I'm going to go find him." I snap back.

I quick find a pare of brown boots in my closet and slip them on. I take my phone of the charger and run to the kitchen. "Mom give me the keys." I demand. "I can't." She tells me.

"Yes you can, and you will. Nothing has been normal my whole life. Dad had been doing illegal stuff right in front of me my whole life, than I watched him get arrested. Then we moved here, I helped find out who killed Jason Blossom, then the one good thing was Archie, he almost died. Second was for me. We broke up and was heart broken. We got back together and I'm finally so happy for so long I didn't know how I was until Archie showed me. The least you could do for me is give me your damn keys." I say.

She throws me her keys and I catch them. "Please just be safe." She says. "I will." I say hurrying out of the door. I run out to the car and see Betty driving the station wagon. She stops in front of me. "Are you going to go look for Archie too?" She asks me.

"Yeah let's see how long I make it till I cry." I say. "Don't worry he'll get found." She says then drives away. I hurry up and get into the car. I don't want Betty to find him. I feel like there's something going on there, but she's my best friend and Archie loves me they wouldn't. Would they?

I start the car and hurry and turn the opposite way Betty was going. I looked everywhere in riverdale. And still no Archie to be seen. All I had motivated me was the smell of Archie's sweater, reminding me of how I love him. My boyfriends hoodie was the thing that kept me together that whole time.

So I drive a hour out of riverdale, and find this little gas station. I walk in and use the bathroom it was so gross but I really had to pee. On my way out I grab a small container of fruit and a water and go to the cash register.
