Basketball season

Archie's pov
Every year the I look forwards to basketball season. I crush everyone in try outs and on the court in the games.

By the end of practice we're playing a game two on two and I had no longer had a shirt on. There is 30 seconds left on the clock and I have the ball. I'm in the middle of the court and my partner is not open.

I shot the ball and hope for the best. It circles around the rim of the hoop and finally it goes in. My partners which was Reggie gave me a high five and I heard clapping by the bleachers.

I look over and see Veronica standing there next to my stuff clapping. "Hey babe." I say walking up close to her. "You did great out there." She says with a small smile.

"That's nothing." I say. "Don't be modest Archiekins you crushed it." And just then she gave me that smile that lights up the whole room.

I lean into kiss her and she stops me. "You're all sweaty." She says. I frown a little and she turns around to my bag and grabs a towel.

She walks up close to me and wipes my chest and face lightly with the towel. Then the back for my neck. "There" She day dropping the towel on my bag.

She stands on her toes and she's kisses me. "Andrews stop making out with Veronica and get over here so we can beat them again!" Reggie yells. Veronica looks at me and smiles.

"That's your call Archiekins. Go make me proud that I'm your girlfriend." She says still smiling. "You're adorable." I says walking away. 

Veronica's pov
Archie is running down the court and has the ball. He gets to the basket and jumps and someone from the opposite team pushes him when he gets lands he falls and then holds his ankles in pain. My heart drops I know something is wrong

"Oh shit." I whisper. I'm almost running in heals trying to make it to him fast. When I get to him you can tell he's in pain.

"Archie." I whisper when I sit down next to him. "I think my ankle is broken." He say. "It's going to be okay I'm going to get Reggie help you to my car. We're going to get you to the hospital and hope that everything will hopefully be okay." I say panicking.

I hold his face and kiss him. "It'll be okay." I say again. "Reggie help him to my car out in the parking lot." I say. He walks up to Archie and throws Archie's arm over neck. And helps him to the car. I grab Archie's stuff and mine and get to my car.

Reggie helps him get into the passenger seat. "Take care of him lodge." He says to me. I nod and get into the car.

"I'm going to kill moose." Archie says trying to fight the pain. "Your not going to do anything until we find out what's wrong with you." I say. We went over a bump and his foot hits the ground.

You can here him make a noise in pain. "I'm sorry." I say feeling super bad.

Once we had gotten into the hospital they had brought him back and we had to wait for him to get an x-ray. It was backed up or something like that.

I had a cup of chocolate pudding. It was hospital food I didn't expect it to taste very good, but it was okay. "Let me try." Archie says. I put some pudding on the spoon and put the spoon in his mouth.

"It's not that bad." He says. "But I just got you to feed me." He says smirking at me a little. "Oh wow Andrews an hour into a sports injury and I'm already doing your work." I say laughing. I push my self up out of the chair and kiss him.

"You taste like chocolate now." I say wiping the lip gloss of his lip. "Is your dad on his way?" I ask him. "Yeah he's just stuck at work. And I also texted Jug." He tells me.
