Your body holds a lot of blood; exactly 1.5 gallons. You really don't realize how much blood you have until you see it. Yeah you can learn about it. But until you see it you'll never know.

And you possibly can't imagine not being living. Like just think about it for a moment. Not living, not breathing, non existent, no thoughts; Zero anything.

When you think about dying, you'll never know until you experience it. When you can just feel your grip of life just slip through your hands, is when you know it's all over.

Archie knows the feeling, he's seen his blood in a pool on the floor; last year in pops. He felt it all. Veronica I guess now has too. She was just trying to do good.

She was only trying to see her boyfriend at pops for breakfast, like she does every Saturday. That's why it must have been so easy to find her. It's routine; she wakes up in the comforts of the Pembroke, gets ready for the day. Which consist of dressing to the nines like always, doing makeup and hair, and all the regular.

Once she gets ready she drives to pops to meet Archie, if he's not already with her. And they order their usuals. They find something to do something to do after, it's sometimes different. Sometimes they go back to the Pembroke, or Archie's house, or on rare occasions the movies.

But this Saturday was different. Veronica woke up with an uneasy feeling, but she just ignored because she wanted to see Archie. She just felt like something bad was going to happen, but what possible way would she actual know what was going to happen to her.

When she had gotten to pops, and it was abnormally packed. But that was probably they just had a sports event at the school a few blocks away. So it didn't occur to her that the man in the black car had been watched her.

She got inside and saw her red headed lover boy sitting at their regular booth. She got to the booth and Archie got up to her her. "Hey babe." Veronica says kissing him. As soon as they separate that's when it goes off; the shot. Everyone ducks and before Veronica is able to fall Archie catches her. She's bleeding uncontrollably.

She can feel her life slip away from her. Struggling to breathe, hearing faint cries from Archie, the blurry sight of him too. "Archie." Veronica manages to cry out. "Ronnie baby please stay with me." The boy cried.

All those little fights, and arguments they've gotten into in the past Archie instantly all in one moment regretted it.

Veronica was his definition of life. And she's laying in his lap bleeding out. "Somebody call an ambulance." He screamed with tears pouring down his face. I think everyone knew they didn't have time for Archie to wait for an ambulance. He took of his jacket and put in on her. Archie knew his time was running out so he ran with her to his car, and drove like a bat out of hell to get to the hospital.

When the boy burst through the doors of the riverdale hospital, all hell broke loose. "Her name is Veronica lodge." He shouts over all of the commotion. "She's been shoot." The doctors rushed to a room knowing that this is Hiram Lodges daughter.

Archie desperately wanted to follow her back, but knew he couldn't. The only thing he could do was call people. Archie of course called Hiram and Hermione lodge, then called Betty even knowing that Veronica and Betty were in a fight.

Betty didn't even care about the feud, all she knew is that she needed to be there for her best friend. She had immediately felt shitty for all the things she did to Veronica the this month.

Meanwhile Archie was trying to connect the dots, and figure out who had done it. Than something clicked. Her parents. Of course they didn't shot her. But they were the cause of it. Her mother is running for mayor, and her father is hated by all. Veronica had been accused of a lair numerous times. Anyone with a motive could have done it.

After a short while almost the whole grade and people's parents were in the hospital waiting room. Just waiting. Most of these people were probably just pretending to love Veronica. It ticked him off.

He stormed out side, his father ran after him. Archie was upset and and angry. He started punch a wall. "Archie Archie stop." Fred says ripping him away. "You couldn't have seen this coming. It wasn't your fault. Veronica will be okay." He try's to tell his son. Archie just breaks done and cry's. His masculinity is no longer showing. But he didn't care. Fred brings his son into a hug. Then once he was calmed down talked him down and told him to go home to get in the shower. To wash off his girlfriend's blood.

Fred had promised to stay there with Veronica. Fred thought of Veronica as his own daughter. He loved her, he loved that she loved Archie. He sees something in his son change when she's around.

Veronica had a lot of people routing for her. But some were happy. Maybe like Ethel muggs , but who knows. But the unknown shooter was happy he had gotten his target.

Veronica had felt nothingness, she had faced the feeling of death today. But will she over come it. She had felt that same feeling Archie felt. She watched her blood pour out of her uncontrollable. She had felt life slip through her fingertips. She had felt death, the opposite of life
