I am a sinner

Archie's pov
I woke up and it was the next day. I seriously slept that long. I freaked out and fell out of my bed. I can't believe I left Veronica alone for that long. I throw on a shirt and jeans and my jacket and leave.

I get in my car and basically speed to the hospital. I run up to the front desk. "I'm here for Veronica lodge." I pant out. "Are you family?" The receptionist asks. "No I'm her boyfriend, I was here yesterday." The receptionist types in something and then looks back up. "You can head right back." She smiles and I speed walk my way to Veronica's room.

When I walk in there a nurse I about to take some blood. I sit next to her and told her hand, and she looks over and smiles at me. She squeeze my hand slightly but takes it like a champ.

The nurse cleans up and then leaves "I'm sorry I didn't come back last night." I apologize. "Archie you needed sleep, you look so much better than you did yesterday morning." Veronica says. "Have you been alone?" I look around the room and see no one and nothing. "No need to fret Archiekins, my mom is only paying the bills right now."

Then I start to think about her dad, but I don't bring it up. Hermione comes walking back in. "Archie, it's good to see you here." I smile at her. "Well you can come home soon Mija." She says creasing the side of Veronica's face. "Where's daddy?" As soon as she said that, I knew she would be disappointed with the answer.

Hermione gives me a quick glance, and I hold on to Veronica's hand once again. "He's in his study working on SoDale right now." Veronica rolls her eyes than begins to look a little upset. "Of course cause you know when you daughter almost dies it's okay work instead of seeing if she okay." Veronica says sarcastically.

I had to come up with something quick to make her feel better. "I'm my dad was in here earlier while I was sleeping to check on you. But you were sleeping too and he didn't want to disturb you. So he sat in here for a little bit than went to work." Veronica smiles at me. I'm glad I helped a little.

"He's such a generous man. No wonder where you get it." I smile back at her. "Yeah because we know he doesn't get it from Mary." Her mom mumbles. "Mom!" Veronica snaps at her. I laugh, letting her know it didn't make me upset.

Veronica's pov
After a while, the hospital agreed to let me go if I had a weekly check up. "Archie you want to stick around to help me get her home?" Archie looks at my mom. "Of course Mrs.Lodge."

Everyone needs an archie in their live. He's literally the sweetest, most loving and caring guy I've ever met. He really makes me happy. Archie always puts me before himself. Just every time he touches me in sends a feeling through me that I usually only get in the beginning. But with Archie it lasted.

When we were walking out of the hospital, nurses offered me a wheel chair. But I didn't want to feel like I'm broken, I don't need one. Plus I had Archie to help me. Archie helped me get up from the bed. Then once I was up his arm was tightly around my waist.

"I got you." He said, probably due to my shaking. "I know you do." I smiled at him. My mom grabbed my bag and we exited the hospital. Then once we got back to the Pembroke, he lifted me up so he was carrying me like a child.

Then he took me to my room, and helped me get comfortable. "I really appreciate you doing this for me." I tell him. "You're my girlfriend and I love you. I would do anything for you." I feel butterflies, and my cheeks start to get warm. "I love you too." He lays next to me closely.

"This is the closest we've been to each other in days." I say. "I know I missed this." Archie lays his head down on my pillow. "The smell of you is so good." He says. I laugh at him. "You're constantly talking about how good I smell Archiekins." He laughs at my remark.

After a while of laying in Archie's arms not sleeping, my mind started to wonder off and think about things that hadn't come to mind until now. Which was; is the black hood also be and back. But what have done that was considered a sin? Having under age sex, underage drinking, helping my horrible father in is business. I am a sinner.

"Hey Arch?" I say desperately hoping he's still awake enough to hear me. "Yeah Ronnie?" He still awake but barely. "Do you think he's still alive?" He props himself up. "Who's he Ronnie?" I think he knows what I mean. "The Black Hood." He then looks at me in all seriousness. "If I'm being honest Veronica, yes I do."

"Then that means I'm a sinner." Archie's face then shows concern and care. "No no no, of course not Veronica. You are the farthest thing from a sin. If you think that you are, I want you to know you are wrong, for once." He says laughing out the last part. "I love you so much Ronnie." I smile at him. "I love you too."

I was left to think the rest of the night. Archie's words did leave me at ease, but only temporary. He's not going to stop till he secedes, and it scares me. Though I don't want to seem vulnerable, so I'll just bit my tongue. But I knew he's  out there, and I knew I am a target.

Sorry this took me literally forever, I just haven't been in the right mental state. I kinda went through a break up and it was rough for me. But now I'm back. And like I always I will try my best to update better. I hope you enjoyed. Remember to vote and comment(:
