Rest of our lifes

*flash forwards 3ish years*

Veronica's pov
Today is the day of the rest of our lives. Graduation. The day I've been waiting for since I moved to riverdale. Me and Archie have a plan. We're going to New York right after graduation. From there college.

I wake up and walk out of my room and see my mom standing there all smiley. "You're leaving today Mija." She says grabbing my hands. "Well you leaving soon and going to New York too." She smiles and puts her hands on my face. "I'm so proud Mija." She kisses my head and goes to get my cap and gown.

"Do you have all your stuff packed up?" I shake my head. "Here you go honey." I go in my room and change into a nice dress and heals and do my makeup. I pack up my cap and gown and head down stairs to the lobby with my mom.

We get to the school and I find Archie in his nice clothes. "Look at you handsome." I say fixing his tie. "Look at me you look gorgeous." I smile and kiss him.

After Archie helps me zip up on my gown, we go to take pictures with Betty and jughead. My mom and Mary persisted on taking hundreds of photos. Betty was in charge of graduation, so therefore she was to busy to give a speech, and so another therefore she put me in charge of the speech. And because I did graduation honor roll.

I walk out the crowd and stand on the podium. I find Archie out there and smile at him. "Oh god where do I start." A few people laugh and then I continue. "I haven't been in riverdale as long as a lot of people in this room has. But this class that we all see in front us. I've know for 3 years. I can't say we all like each other, but that's how things go. We're teenagers. We have drama. Like who should we go out with, how to dress, and all that other stupid stuff. Now that we're leaving the comforts of our school that we've been in for years, we now need to worry about; where should get my degree, where should I do my first internship, how to find a job that really matters to us. Things are really about to change. For better or for worse. Soon before we know it we'll be leaving this life and starting a complete new one. I'm a totally different person than I was when I came to riverdale. And may I add I hope a better one. These people who've we've been around have helped us shape us into who we are now. I would like to give my credit to Betty, and Archie, and I mean even jughead. And as a final goodbye for all us, thank you for these wonderful years." Everyone starts to clap as I walk off the stage.

I sit back down next to Archie and he pulls me into a side hug. Then before we know it we're going up one at a time to get our diplomas. At specific names being called the student would yell and clap.

Finally when we got through the names we all stood by our chairs. "And on the count of three throw your caps into the air" some announced.

I take my cap off and quickly fix my hair. Then I hear the 3 and I throw my cap up into the air. Archie pulls me into s hug. "We did it." He says. "Yeah I guess we did." I laugh. We gather our stuff and head out of the school for just one more picture for me and Archie. Embarking on journey we head to my place and get my boxes and we start our drive to New York.

Archie's pov
My car was already cat our new apartment in New York. So we loaded up in Ronnie's car she had a nice 2016 Chevy Traverse. It was a big car so she looked tiny in it which is cute.

I had offered to drive and of course Ronnie let me. She hates driving for long. Not long after we take off she pulls out her lap top and starts watching friends and falls asleep to it.

After a good few hours of driving we're there. I rub Veronica's shoulder and she wakes up. "We're here babe." She looks around and gets unbuckled.

I've been coming to our apartment putting all of stuff together for weeks now. And Veronica has been decorating so it's pretty much finished. After we load the last boxes in we lay down in our bed together.

"Remember that time when we we're walking to pops sophomore year. It was a few weeks after Cheryl tried to kill herself, and a few weeks after my dad shot you and was coming home soon." Umm I have no idea what to say that.

"Wow Ronnie we had a very problematic high school experience. But maybe go on." She laughs and continues. "I was freaking out because riverdale was falling apart, and worrying about our relationship. Then you promised me it wasn't falling apart just yet, and when we graduate me and you were going to leave town together." (A/N that conversation was in a earlier chapter in my book)

"Uh yeah I actually do remember that." I remember it was the day that nick saint sicko came for the first time. "Look at us now."

"I can't believe I'm about to do this." She sits up and looks at me weird. "What?" I walk to the other side of the bed and get down on one knee and pull of a black box out.

"Veronica Cecilia Lodge I've known you were the one since you walked into pops that night you came to Riverdale. We've been through everything together; a murder, a serial killer, a break up, so much more. You were my first love and my only love. Call it fate or destiny this happened out of design. People might say we're just young and naïve but I know it for sure you are the only one for me. Even though I've only known you for three years it feels like I've known you for my whole life time. You are my best friend Ronnie. And so since we've been a cliché couple for 3 years with our cheerleader jock relationship, and our height difference, so why quit the cliché now. Will you Veronica Cecilia Lodge will you make me the honor of the luckiest man alive and marry me?" By the end Ronnie was is full blown tears.

"Of course! Absolutely! Yes! Yes! Yes!" She hugs me tight. "I love you so much." She says crying. "How long did it take you to come up with that speech?" She asked as I slide the ring on her finger. "Oh my god so long." She laugh/cries. "It was so worth it though."

I'll probably only have a couple maybe one chapter. It should be up soon. Though I have a couple ideas on how to end it so I'll just have to choose one then write a chapter. I hope you enjoyed. Remember to vote and comment(:
