Girlfriends Intuition

Veronica's pov
I had a feeling the reason why Archie left, was a bunch of bull shit. Sure it might be some of it, but I think it's really something more than that.

"So the plan today is that I'm going to drive you and me back home. Before I go home I'm going to drop you off and let you face the wrath of your unhappy father, alone I don't need to see your sad face when he yells at you. Than we're going to go to pops with jughead and Betty. Than I better see you at school on Monday." I conclude.

"Alright babe." He says smiling while holding the door open for me. He opens the back door and puts his back pack in the back seat. I get into the drivers seat and start the car.

After like a hour we get to the gas station. I just need to go to get some water and pay for gas. And of course go say hi to Jessie.

Archie's pov
I'm filling up the gas when I get a call from Cheryl. Why the hell would she be calling me. "Hello?" I ask answering the call.

"Oh so your alive?" She says. I just sigh. "Well I need the money from nick the hush money. And I know that you locked lips with a girl with a blonde ponytail." She says. "Cheryl if you dare-"

"Relax just if you would just get me the money it would be great. And I mean after what he did to Veronica-"

"What!?" I ask confused. "Yeah if Veronica didn't give him that well deserved slap he would have done it to her what he did to me." She says I'm and I'm still drawing a blank. "I'm going to murder him." I say ending the call.

I look over at the window and see Veronica standing there smiling while she talks to the cashier. I can't believe this monster would ever hurt her.

But yet I'm hurting her with the fact that me and Betty kissed. I finish filling up the tank and go into the store  to see why it's taking Veronica long.

Veronica's pov
I walk into the store with a smile on my face. "Did you find him?" Jessie asks me excitedly. "Yep." I say happily back. I walk to the back to get a water.

"Is that him?" She asking looking at the window. "Yeah." I smile. "Wow, you have a hot boyfriend!" She says making me laugh.

I look over at the window and he's on the phone. "I wonder who he's on the phone with?" I ask. "Hmm." She says with a shrug.

"Look away he's coming." She says quickly. I look away and then look at her. The bing rings telling us he entered the store. "Hey babe." I say standing up straight rather than leaning on the counter.

I feel his arm go around my waist. "You ready to go?" He asks me. "Yeah." I say back. "Bye jess." I says smiling and waving goodbye.

On the drive Archie just looking out the window and tapping his foot. I look at him and then look back on the road. "Something's off with you." I say.

He looks at me and doesn't say anything. "Call it girlfriends intuition, but you're hiding something." I tell him. "I really don't feel like the whole black thing is over, but that's not the only reason why I left. I left something out." He says.

"I knew it." I say. "What?" I ask. "On the night of the black hood." And hangs his head and takes a long pause. "Me and Betty kissed." He says.

My heart just stops. I slam on the brakes. "YOU WHAT!?" I yell. "When, why, and how." I can't believe this my best friend and boyfriend kissed. "It was after you dumped me, and jughead with Betty. Nana rose told us this story about Betty's grandfather. And it just happened." He says quickly.

"You and Betty....kissed." I say unable to process any of this. "It was that crazy, out of control night Ronnie, literally 40 minuets later the black held a gun to your head and Betty and jughead where barring me alive." He says.
