Veronica's pov
When I woke up I was told to get ready to go to Mrs. Coopers house to talk about what happened with Cheryl and the jingle jangle.

I sat in the back of our car silently. Until we got there I didn't say a word.

We walked through the door and I got an eye roll from Mrs. Cooper and a stare from Betty. I sat next to Archie and Josie on the couch.

"Riverdale's best and brightest huh?" Alive says sitting down. "Alice thank you for hosting." Mayor says. "Of course mayor McCoy." She replys.

"After I heard what happened at Nick's party I decided we should all get together to deal with this motley crew of liars, dope fiends, and fornicators expect for my Betty who was smart enough to leave the party before it descended into a buckin alley and free for all." Alice says.

"God mom please don't." Betty says with her head down. I lean to Archie. "Great here we go saint Betty and terrible Veronica." I whisper. I can see Betty look over at me with her head still down.

"For clarity Alice did you host this little get together to what? Gloat?" Fred asks her. While he's saying that I lean back over to Archie again. "I may have taken jingle jangle, but I wasn't the one who had a psychotic break." I tell him. "Easy Veronica she just broke up with jughead." He tells me. "#bughead is no more, Betty  didn't tell you?" Kevin asks me.

This whole thing with Betty is making me crazy I miss telling her everything. Alice clears her throat gesturing us to pay attention. 

"Careful throwing stones there acid queen Alice, I'm not the only one who knows a story behind that mugshot, that your daughter printed in her paper." My Dad says.

"Well I for one would like to know who brought the jingle jangle to the party." My mom says. We all sit there in silence waiting for someone to say something. Reggie starts to raise his hand and his mom quickly rips in down.

She yells his whole name. "Not a single word out of you until a lawyer present." His mom says. "All we need Malinda is Reggie to tell us is how he acquired it." My Dad tells her.

"Some gang member from the south side." Reggie says. Then they start saying how the south side is dangerous and in fault for everything.

Then they start saying something about serpents that go to south side high. "Not all serpents are drug dealers." Archie says than having his dad shushing him. "Look we shouldn't have taken the JJ, but Nicks the one who asked Reggie to get it, and then push it on us. He's the one who should be in the hot seat, I mean he's the one who roofied Cheryl and tried to assault her." I argue.

"To prove it was Nick Saint Claire would be difficult given that all the witnesses were high." Sheriff Keller says. "Yeah but, me and Josie saw Nick and Cheryl the night after the party and neither of us were on jingle jangle." I tell the sheriff. "That drug stays in your system for 3 days if I drug tested you right now you'd have a credibility problem." He states. But I know that I saw Nick trying to rape Cheryl, it wasn't affects of a drug I know because he tried to do it to me too.

"Josie you took that drug?" Her mom asks her sternly. Josie shakes her head yes. "I see." Mayor McCoy says standing up. "From this moment on, I'm bringing the south under control my number one priority as mayor. If it means raising it to the ground or arresting every single serpent in sight starting with that high school so be it. Let's go Josefina." She says getting up and leaving.

We all watch them leave and all get up and walk out the door ourselves.

"Archie are you going to walk to school with me?" I Ask hugging him. "Is Mayor McCoy going to south side right now?" He asks me.
