Archie's pov
The door slowly creeps open. The intensity was overwhelming. Veronica's grip got tighter and tighter as the door open more and more. As soon as the door open Veronica was holding on to as tight as she could.

Of course when the door opens all hope is lost. It was Hiram lodge at the door. "Sorry I had to knock I forgot my keys on the desk in my office." He says walking right. I stand up and Veronica stand right behind me holding my hand. "Archie what a pleasure seeing you here." He says briefly. I nod my head. But he would have seen me here every day helps me Veronica if he cared about his daughter instead of trying to kill her.

He goes into his office for a brief 5 minuets. Then comes out looking lost, or like he had lost something. "Looking for these?" Hermione says holding up the black hood documents. "How did-"

"How did we get those documents saying you hired someone to murder me? I don't know Dad try hiding them a little bit better next time. You should know better by no that I find hidden stuff. And now that I know all there to know. I'm ready to expose your dirty laundry." Veronica snaps.

"I wouldn't have done that if I were you." Hiram says threatening her. "You're not going to hurt her again even if you try." I say pushing Veronica behind me again. "Like you could do anything Archie." Veronica grip is still tight on me. "Veronica didn't even do anything to bring what you brought upon her."

"Lie. She constantly defied me over and over again, disrespected me countless times, lost me deals with the Saint Clairs." There was silence in the room. "An now that I think about it-" he moves and before I'm able to act he grabs Veronica by the arm.

He holds her and pulls a gun out of his suit, and holds it to her head. "Archie get my mom out of here." Then he holds it closer and Veronica. She closes her eyes and tears start running down her cheek.

Veronica's pov
Right at this moment I felt like it was all going to end. How do I manage to get myself in this position where I have a gun pointed to my head twice.

But I wasn't ready for it all to end. Tears u willingly ran down my face. "Archie..." He looks at me with fear. "I wanted to let you know that I love you Archie, so much. Never forget that." Archie looks distraught obviously. "I love you too mom, and guys tell Betty that she was the best best friend ever." I shut my eyes and I hear I loud crash.

I open my eyes and the police are surrounding. My dad pushes me away and I stumble to the ground by the fire place. He keeps re pointing the gun at different people. I grab a tool from the fire place and I stand up. I wack him in the back of the head and he drops the gun and fall to the ground. I kick the gun across the house so there's no way he can get it again.

"Hiram lodge you are under arrest for the murder of midge clump, Jennifer Grundy, and the shootings of Veronica lodge, Fred Andrews, Archie andrews. Moose. Anything you may and will be used against you in the court of law." In the moment all I felt was relief. I hurry my way to Archie's arms.

He hugs me tight and kisses the top of my head. I start to cry again. "It's okay, it's all over now." He says rubbing my back. They get my dad out of the room, and I go and hug my mom. She grabs my face and kisses me on the forehead. "I'm so sorry Mija."

"For what mom? What just happened had nothing to do with you." She wipes tears away from my face. "I let him back into your life I should have known better." I hug her one more time. "No no. Mom it's not your fault." I look over and see Sheriff Keller. "Sorry to interrupt, but I need to talk to you Hermione." She wipes away her tears and talks with him leaving me and Archie alone.

"Do you hate me now?" I ask looking down at my feet. "Veronica why would I hate you?" He leaves my chin up. "Because my dad tried to murder you and your dad"

Archie's pov
I couldn't believe she was asking me. "Veronica I could never hate you, even if I tried." She looks up at me and kisses me. It's passionate but yet still soft at the same time.

I hug her tight never wanting to let go. "You know you're pretty badass with that fire place too thing." She laughs into my shirt m. "Not the time Arch." She says laughing a little bit. "Then why are you still laughing?"

"Because are gonna think I set this up." I laugh at her comment, then her mom comes in and we quickly stop. "So they're pushing out of the apartment, and making me book a room at the four seasons. Do you want to stay with me or go home with Archie?" Veronica looks up and me and I nod and she looks back at her mom.

"I'm going to stay with Archie." She says.
