Unexpected visitors

Archie's pov
A few hours after Veronica leaves I wake back up and go down stairs. "Good morning dad." I say hoping he didn't hear Veronica come in last night. "Morning." He says while brewing his coffee. The door bell rings . "I got." I yell to my dad. I open the door. "What are you doing here?" I ask. "Do you think when my son gets shot I don't need come down and see you." My mom says yelling at me. "I would of came earlier, but I had to work." She says hugging me. "It's fine. My friends have really gotten me by this past couple of weeks." I say to my mom. "Especially Veronica." She says winking and smirking at me. "Oh Casanova here didn't come home the night of the jubilee. And I've caught them kissing twice." My dad says sipping his coffee. "Is that true Archie?" My mom asks. My cheeks start to get red and turn around and I walk to my room.

Veronica's pov
I'm sitting on my bed and my phone dings. I look at my phone, and it says ❤️ARCHIEKINS❤️ . I open up my phone to read the text.
A- My mom is here.
V- Really!?
A- Yeah
A- I love my mom, but she's really embarrassing me and it's a little annoying.
V- I'm sorry 😂😂
A- I miss you
V- really? It's been less than 24 hours since we last saw each other.
A- 😂
A- wanna call?
V- sure Archiekins.

"Hay archiekins." I say answering the call. "Hay Ronnie." He says with a sweet voice. "I'm sorry if I scared you last night." I say. "It's fine you were worried, but I'm fine I promise." Archie told me. "Ok Archiekins." I said in a soft voice. Just then I hear the door bell ring. "Hold on let me get this You can stay on the phone." I say. "K" he replies. I open the door to see someone I thought I would never see again. "What are you doing here." I ask the person at the door. "Ronnie what's going on?" I hear Archie say from on the phone. "Hay Archie I gotta go. I'm fine. I see you later. Love you." I say. "I love you too." Archie says. "Bye." I hung up. And set my phone down. "Seriously what are you doing here. I don't want you here." I say. "I came back for you." The person said. "Nick I left you in New York. I don't like you like that anymore. I love someone else now. " I say angrily to my ex. "I heard, now how far are you going to go with him since all your relationships lasted less than a month." Nick says coldly. "Go now before I call the police." I say harshly then slam the door. After 5 minutes I looked through the peep hole and saw no one there. I pick up my phone to text Archie.

V- Can you come over?
A- Sure, why?
V- I tell you when you get here.
A- Is your mom home?
V- No, she's out of town in a meeting about my dad, and won't be home till tomorrow at 12 pm.
A- ok I'll be there soon.

I just can't believe Nick came to Riverdale. I broke up with him. He had no right coming to my house. I don't even know how he got my address. I hear a knock at the door. I open it to see Archie. I closed the door and hugged him. "Are you ok Ronnie?" He asks me. "No, I'm not." I say into his chest. "What is it?" He asks. I let go of our hug and I look up at him. "My ex boyfriend, from New York. He came to my door and said he wanted me back." I say. "Well, what did you say." He said jealously. "I told him that I didn't like him anymore, and that I loved you." I say. "I'm sorry Ronnie." He says. "I'm fine now." I say hugging him again.

Archie's pov
After of being at Veronica's for a bit we texted jughead and Betty to see if they wanted to go to pops. They both said they'll come. So me and Veronica started walking to pops. "I'm surprised that jughead is coming." Veronica says to me. "Why wouldn't he?" I asked while knowing the obvious answer. "Him and Betty have been having trouble. And plus he never shows up anymore." Ronnie says. "I know, just give him a little time he's still the normal jughead." I tell her. "It's not just him. Riverdale is falling apart. All good relationships turn bad just look at Betty and jughead. Betty's parents turned on each other. And fathers and killings their sons. And to make it all better my father is coming home. And a few weeks ago Cheryl tried to kill her self. What is riverdale turning into?" She says yelling. "Look Veronica if your worried about our relationship you don't need to. Just because your ex came doesn't mean we're going to break up. We're good together. And this town is not going to fall apart just yet. Once we graduate we can leave this town before it falls apart completely. We're going to be just fine."

Veronica pov
When Archie's was talking to me reminded me the night when we were in FP's tailer. "I love you." I say softly. "I love you too Ronnie." Then we kiss. We start walking and he grabs my hand. I love up at him and smile because, I can't help to think about how much I love him. When we finally got to pops only Betty was there. So then Archie got on his phone and texted jughead once we sat down at our booth. "Hay B." I said sitting next to her. "Sorry we took so long to walk here." I say getting comfortable in the seat.  "It's fine at least you showed up." She said obviously hinting at jughead. Just then jughead walks through the door and sits next to Archie. "Sorry I'm late, it took me forever to walk here." Jughead says in an apologetic tone. "Veronica?" Jughead says. "Yeah" reply back. "Do you mind if I sit next to Betty?"he says with a smirk on face. I then look at Betty and smile and nudge her with my elbow. I then stand up and jughead looks at Betty and smiles. It looks like they're on the mend already. After he sits back down, I go and sit next to Archie. I scoot close to him and he puts his arm around me. I look up at him and then put my hand on his knee.  I then see Betty kiss jughead on cheek. Pops then comes to take our order. "Hay pops?" I say. "Yes?" He questions. "Can you take a picture of us?" I ask. "Yeah, sure thing." I hand him my phone, he takes a step back and presses the button. He hands me back the phone and I look at the picture. I want to remember the moment that our group got back together. I set it up as my lock screen and order my food. We had a lot of milk shakes that night, and had a lot of laughs.

Sorry I took me almost a week to update this. Tell me when you want me to update because, I have been updating randomly and would like to get on a normal schedule. Well any if you have any ideas I would love to hear them. Hope you liked this chapter. Don't be a stranger ;)
