The definition of love had perfectly fit what Archie had felt for Veronica. It couldn't have been more clear; it was crystal clear. Veronica had felt the exact same for Archie. They were always on the same page. No matter what was happening. They were a perfect team.

They did get in the fights that every child goes through, but they had alway fixed it. Expect that time before Christmas when Veronica was afraid to say " I love you", but only because she had loved Archie so much. It doesn't really make sense, but once you connect some things together I'm sure it'll click.

Anyways, the fight they had caused Veronica to break up with him, because she had felt she wasn't good enough for him, and that Veronica had wanted him to be happy and to be with someone he deserves. But shortly after they had both found out that they couldn't stay apart for long.

Archie had spent his whole night in the hospital waiting room for Veronica to get out of life threatening surgery. The doctors didn't really give the boy and Veronica parents much updates, which had drove everyone crazy. So everyone had fizzled out. Archie, Hermione, Hiram, Fred, Betty, were the only ones who had stuck the whole night.

Everyone had fallen asleep a few times, but not Archie. Archie was not about to fall asleep when his girlfriend was half dead. He had felt the very feeling when his dad was in the hospital for weeks, because of the Black hood. Archie also wasn't about to tell Hiram lodge that the the most likely reason why his daughter is in the position she is...is because of him or his wife.

Veronica was still in the state of nothingness, she had a single thought, and she breathing out a tube. She has no idea if she was dead or alive. The last she remembers is seeing Archie look above her while blood was spilling out of her like an over filled bathtub. She remembers feeling her stomach and looking at her hand and seeing blood. She remembered hearing Archie crying out for the love he was about to lose.

While time stays still Veronica, Archie feels like time is just wasting away. Until the moment the doctors walks through the door up to him. The lodges, the Andrews, and Betty all stood up. "So who ever shot knew what they were doing. So it was on purpose." The older doctors explains. The very thought of that make Archie's blood boil.

"Veronica had a major hemorrhage in her. It took us a while to find the bullet. We knew it was still in her, because it had no exit wound. But we found the bullet in time and we're going to give to police. But anyways her hemorrhage was bad. It had hit a vital organ, but we were able to fix the organ. Because thankfully the damage wasn't too bad. She's made it through the surgery with no aftermath complications. It will take her a little while to get back to her normal self, but she should be fine. Though we have no idea when she'll wake up, but she will at some point."

After the doctors walks away, people hug. Not only out of happiness, but out of relief too. They had decided that the lodges would go in the room first, because after all Archie may love her. Archie had sat there out of relief, happiness, and anger. Anger formed from the unknown shooter, that caused him one of the worst pains in the world. The type of anger that can only be brought away by getting to the bottom of this. The feelings he was feeling were mixed emotions.

As the parents went back to see their daughter they were worried what they might see, but so grateful that they didn't have to see her in a morgue. As they got to the door they felt anticipation. But who they saw in the room looks nothing like their daughter. Her tan skin was now pale. Her roses cheeks lost color. Her lips were purple. But at least she was alive.

They spent an hour with her. By that time it was already 1:00 am, and they had been exhausted. So they sent Archie and Betty back as Fred, Hermione, and Hiram all went home to sleep. Hiram and Hermione were just glad they got to go home knowing their daughter was still alive.

Archie and Betty had also no longer recognize their best friend. They had probably sat there till 2/3 in the morning. Archie was holding her hand for hours hoping she would just wake up already. Betty had sat at the end of the bed in the chair waiting with Archie too. "Oh my god it smells like hospital in here." The two friends and wiped their heads up and saw a groggy Veronica. "Veronica." They both yell. Veronica had flinched at it. Her head was pounding.

"Can I get some pain killers." She mumbles out. Archie quickly but carefully hugs Veronica never wanting to let go, while Betty has tears rolling down her face. "I'm so sorry I was such a bitch to you. I love you so much." Betty cries. "It's okay, I just need some damn pain killers." Veronica says making her boyfriend kiss her.

While Betty went to go get the doctor, Archie stayed content next to his raven haired princess. "Don't ever do that again. I love you so much." Veronica laughs at his comment. "I'm not planning on dying any time soon. Can't get ride of me that easily." Archie kisses her once more.

I was never going to have Ronnie die. It was a matter of time till she was awake again. I just did it sooner than later so yeah. I'm probably going to go back to my normal writing style with the pov's but let me know if you liked these last two chapters they were kind of fun and difficult to write, and I'm probably not going to add those definitions anymore. Those were just for a more of a dramatic effect . I hope you enjoyed. Remember to vote and comment(:
