Heartthrobs and Secret Admirers (A Lippa FanFiction)

Chapter One: The Announcment

Pippa's POV:

After the show Jasmine quickly changed into her street clothes and told Renee and I she had big news and to come to the stage in 15 minutes. She then ran giggling out of the room.

"What do you think that is about?" Renee asked me with a puzzled look on her face. "I don't know, but what ever it is Anthony started it." I reply jokingly.

"What do you mean 'Anthony started it?"
"During the stay alive reprise he kept smiling. I almost started laughing. Imagine that 'Eliza Schuyler laughs at sons death, Hamilton family is full of heartless people'" I say in a news reporter voice trying not to giggle.

Renee and I quickly get changed to go see what Jasmine wanted.

Jasmine popped her head in our dressing room "Hey guys are you coming? I said I have big news!" "We're coming Jazzy one second" Renee yells as Jasmine skips to the stage.

I followed behind at a slightly slower speed and see the rest of the cast gathered around Jasmine and Anthony.

"So Jasmine and I have some big news... Do you want to tell them babe?"
"Anthony and I are getting married!!" Jasmine practically screamed.

Im actually not surprised by this news Jasmine and Anthony are perfect for each other. It's crazy to think that if it weren't for Hamilton they wouldn't be getting married.

After talking to most of the cast Jasmine made her way over to Me. "Do you like it?" She asked holding the ring up to my eyes. "It's beautiful!" I said hugging her. "So when did he proposes?"

Jasmine looked away shyly and nearly whispers "About a week ago."
"What and you are just now telling us? I thought we were best friends!"
"I'm sorry for keeping it from you, we just wanted to keep it between the two of us until we had a few things sorted out. Anyways, we are having a celebration tonight down the street at that new bar, you and Steven are more than welcomed to come."

After talking with Jasmine I made my way to Lin's dressing room. "Hey its Pippa" I said knocking. Lin called "Its open" from inside.

"Hey Pippa whats up?" Lin looked up from his phone as I walked in. "Nothing, just wondering if you and Vanessa are coming to Jasmine and Anthony's party."

"Of course we'll  be there, we just have to find someone to watch Sebastian. Is Steven coming with you?"

"Yeah he is. One of my friends from back home is her visiting me. I could ask her she if would mind watching Sebastian if you want." I wouldn't want Lin to miss such a big thing.

"Actually that would really help. Our usual babysitter is busy tonight." Lin says while typing on his phone.

I walk out of the room to call my friend Emily. She doesn't answer but I get a text from her almost immediately.

Emily: Hey sorry can't talk rn I'm at the movies. Whats up?

Pippa: I was just wondering if you mind watching Lin's son tonight. I know that its last minute but Jasmine and Anthony are getting married and we wanted to go celebrate.

Emily: Omg thats crazy! Tell them I said congratulations! And of course I can watch the kid go have fun.

Pippa: Thanks you are a life saver!! I'll make it up to you I promise!

I walk back into Lin's dressing room "Hey Emily said that she can watch Sebastian. You Vanessa can drop off him off at my apartment then we can all share a cab to the bar or something." I notice Lin's face brighten as i say this.

"Thank you Phillipa, I owe you big time." He looked at me with a mischievous smile "Speaking of weddings have you and Steven picked a date yet?"

I love how close me and Lin are, besides Steven Lin is my best friend. It's also nice having someone trust you enough to not get jealous that your best friend is a guy.

"We are thinking about having an Autum wedding but we haven't totally decided yet. But we know that we want a small intimate wedding, with just close friends and family. So of course you Vanessa and Seb are invited."

To be honest I've been pretty indecisive about a lot of the wedding planning, I just want it to be a perfect day that Steven and I can look back on and tell our children about.

Lin got a text interrupting our conversation. "Vanessa said that she got caught up in traffic and will be running late. I guess there was a pretty bad accident on the freeway the whole road is blocked." I got at text at the same time from Steven about the same traffic jam.

"Steven is stuck in the same jam. How about we go together and once Steven and Vanessa get to my apartment they come together. I don't want to be late to the celebration."

Lin looked a bit disappointed but agreed to the new plan. I guess he wanted to show off his amazing marriage to the couple to be.

Hey, I know this sucks but this is my first story Ive written. I know it doesn't seems like a Lippa story yet but just you wait. Sorry I was helpless, okay I'll stop. I just wanted to write something different. Let me know how you like it.
