Lin's POV:

I woke up to the sent of pancakes cooking. It reminded him of when Pipp first started staying at his apartment. I looked to my side and saw Pippa still sleeping next to our beautiful daughter and tried my best not to wake them.

As I make my way into the kitchen I see Mandy and Sebastian cooking the delicious smelling breakfast. "Good morning Lin! Sebastian was hungry for pancakes and I didn't want to wake you."

I look at the clock and saw the time was 7:12 am. "Wow, it's pretty early. Did Sebby wake you up?"

"No no. He caught me coming back from my morning run." I look at her confused.

"Then why do you look like you are ready to go head to new york. When did you go for a run?" Mandy was all dressed up in leather pants and a flowy shirt, her hair and makeup was done. And it is only 7:12

"I usually go for a run around six."

"Wow! New Jersey has really changed you. I remember when we did heights you wouldn't get up until after 10."

"Well, that's what parenting does to you." Mandy laughed, more out of force than finding herself funny. I know the whole split custody of Mirabelle has been hard on her.

"Hey, Pippa good morning!" I turn around and see Pippa holding our beautiful daughter.

"Did I wake you? I tried to be quiet."

"No, Netty woke up. But I don't mind. I'm happy to wake up to her." Pippa gave Lynnette tight squeeze and a kiss before handing her to me.

I look into my daughter's face and realize what I almost lost. If we didn't get Lynnette back I wouldn't have just lost my newborn baby, I would have lost Pippa too. For once everything worked out in our favor. If anything would have gone differently in California I would be left with almost nothing. All I would have is Sebastian.

"Do you want any pancakes? Lin!" I snap back to reality with a plate shoved in my face. "You okay?"

Mandy and Pippa both look at me concerned. "Yeah, I'm great. I'm just trying to comprehend everything that happened in the past year. I'm really glad everything worked out in the long run and I have a beautiful little family. Thank you again, Mandy for watching Sebastian and letting us crash here. Sorry if we ruined your plans with Chris."

"No worries. Watching Seb for a day while you two go get your daughter was way for fulfilling than anything I could have done with my day." I notice that whenever I mention Chris' name Mandy acts as if I never said his name. She addresses everything else that I say except for Chris.

"So, you and Chris have been hanging out more lately I've noticed." Mandy quickly looks away from me and serves Pippa a plate pancakes.

"I guess, I don't know. We've always been close, and he has been helping me with everything with Doug." Just as Mandy tried to explain away my assumptions of her and Chris, the man himself emerges from Mandy's room.

"No me diga!" I can't help but revert back to heights jokes when I am around my old pals.

"Chris! I told you to wait until they left!" Mandy was clearly embarrassed that Pippa and I saw what was going on.

"I got hungry and smelt your pancakes! Can you blame me?"

"Pippa and I should get the kids back home. Thank you for having us over. I'll leave you two lovebirds alone while I clean up our mess."

I quickly run around the house picking up anything Sebastian played with and make the guest bed. I place all of the borrowed baby items neatly in a pile on the couch.

"Thank you so much, Mandy! I hope to see you as one of the sisters soon!" Pippa gave Mandy a hug before we parted with our new happy family to New York.

I convinced Pippa to take a cab to our apartment back in Washington Heights. I don't think taking a new born on the subway is a good idea.

We get home safely and had a relaxing day of watching tv and Lynnette as she sleeps. Sebastian is so excited that he is a big brother he wants to help Netty with anything and everything he can.

When she started crying he went and found his favorite paw patrol toy and said it made him happy so he wanted to share it with her.

The is the family I always wanted. I almost had it with Vanessa but I wasn't around enough. This is my second chance I can't mess this up.
