Ace's POV

"I can not believe that this is happening." I said with my hands on my waist.

"Neither can I."

"There's got to be a reason behind this. I mean, there's no any other rational explanation na kung bakit niya gingawa toh." Sabi KO.

"Hindi lang ikaw. I am also having my doubts." He said.

"There's got to be a reason behind this."

"What should we do?"

"The only thing we can do." Sabi KO habang nakatalikod sakanya. "We have to find her before she does."

"But how?"

"Kyrine has told me all of her plans so far. But for now, I am clueless about her performance."

Nakaupo lang siya sa desk niya at ako nakatayo paikot-ikot.

"We start at dusk, I'll explain the rest on the way. Meet me here." Binigyan KO siya ng papel. "Bring flashlights and matches."

Tumango na lang siya habang nakapikit at yung parang naka thinking pose siya.

"Are you sure about this Ace?" Tanong niya.

"Yes. But all I ask of you, is trust. Nathan."

"Then we shall leave at dusk. I'll see you in a few hours Mr. Harleen."

Tumango na lang kami sa isa't isa at umalis na kami sa office niya.

Whatever's happening, wala akong maintindihan.

I mean, first of, bitter yan si Kyrine! There's no way in hell na O-oo na lang siya Kay Austin.

Oo sabihin natin siguro dahil gusto ko rin siya, pero parang may Mali. May balak yan si Kyrine. And I am pretty sure na kung ano man yon, she's got Austin wrapped around her little finger.

"Hays, anong gagawin ko ngayon?" Sabi ko sa sarili ko habang nakatungo habang naglalakad.

"Alistar?"

Tinignan ko kung sino yung nakatayo sa harapan ko.

"Violla. Hi. What brings you here at this hour?" Tanong ko.

"I was just on my way to the Headmaster's office. Is he still there?" Violla asked softly.

Wow. For a cute girl, she really looks pretty and her voice is soft and pleasing to the ears.

"Uh, yeah. He is. Why?"

"I would only like to ask him a few questions." She answered.

"Alright."

"Well, goodbye. Have a safe trip." Sabi niya at naglakad na siya palagpas sakin at papasok sa office ni Nathan.

Naglakad na ko ulit kaso may natapakan ako. May nakita akong papel.

"Hays." Pinulot ko yung kalat. Itatapon ko na Sana sa basurahan kaso, may nakita akong "ine" sa dulo.

Binuklat ko yung papel.

"What the hell."

My eyes grew from this thing, like Hindi ko na maexplain!

"Shit!" Tumalikod ako agad at nagsimulang tumakbo papunta sa office ni Nathan. "Nathan!"

Binalibag ko pabukas yung pinto.

Walang Tao...

Naglakad ako kaso may naamoy ako, sobrang familliar nung amoy.

Tumingin ako sa sahig at may mga bakas ng dugo sa sahig.

I kneeled down and touched the fresh blood. Inamoy ko yung dugo.

"Hmm." Tumayo ako nagsimulang buklatin yung mga drawers ni Nathan sa desk niya. And no doubt about it.

"Clever." Sinara ko yung drawer at tumingin sa bintana. Binuksan ko yung curtains at yung lock ng window ay Hindi nakaayos.

"I didn't think she'll use the innocent one." Sinara ko na ulit yung curtains at nagisip.

"If she's missing, dropping out of school and using another student to do her dirty work... No doubt about it. She's framing Violla! But how? What could a sweet and innocent girl like Violla could do that would make herself be framed?"

Naglakad ako paikot sa office ni Nathan.

"Wait a minute!" Kinuha ko yung papel sa bulsa ko. "Okay, kung this thing is spelled out like this and that like this, so maybe... " I started rearranging the letters on each word sa papel.

"Gotcha." I smirked. I couldn't help it. She's just too simple.

Nagsimula na akong lumabas sa office.

Fine. If that's how she wants to play, so be it. You may have a foul joker card, but I've got an ace up my sleeves.
