"Come on, you two," Narcissa called as we followed her to a pillar between platforms nine and ten. "This way!" We stopped in front of the pillar and my grip on my trolley tightened. "Alright, now you need to run straight through it."
I knew we were going to have to do this, but now as I stared at the stone pillar ahead of me, my hands started to get clammy. What if the magical force-field could somehow tell I was Voldemort's daughter and it made alarms go off? I looked over at Draco and could tell he was nervous but not trying to show it.

"Er- Sierra, you go first," he said. I rolled my eyes.

"Oh, how very brave of you, Draco," I sniped sarcastically. I looked ahead of me again, and my look was hard and cold. I was thinking nonsense before, I told myself. No alarm is going to go off, you'll be fine, just do it. I took a deep breath. "One- two-- three!" I ran full force towards the pillar. Right when I thought I was going to smash into it and make a fool of myself, I squinted my eyes shut and felt a weird sensation tingle through my entire body.

When my chocolate brown eyes peeked open again, I gasped at what was in front of me: a large, bright red train with the words Hogwarts Express along it's side. Smoke blew out of it as the high pitched whistle sounded and I couldn't help the smile that broke out onto my face.

I turned back around to see Draco appear in front of the pillar, his eyes squeezed shut as well. He gaped up at the train until Lucius and Narcissa ran through and rushed us over to where they were taking our trunks. I kept my small bag with me that held my Hogwarts robes and had Night's cage in my other hand. He was in there, and had his wing up over his head as if to block the commotion that was going on around us.

I set down those two things as a man takes Draco and I's trunks and hug Narcissa tightly. She ran her hands through my hair gently, before squeezing me back. "You be safe, dear," she whispered. I squeezed my eyes shut and hugged her tighter.

"I will," I reassured her. We pulled away and Narcissa pulled Draco to her, ignoring all his protests. I looked up at Lucius and he extended his hand towards me. I raised my eyebrows at him before pushing his hand away and wrapping my arms around his torso. His body tensed up slightly, but after a while, he removed me and squatted down, pulling me to him once again and hugging me tightly.

"You be good, okay? Try to display yourself as harmless and unsuspicious as possible. Your father will explain things to you later in the year."

I pulled away from him. "Things about what?" I asked, narrowing my eyes.

"Never mind that now," he said dismissively. He gave me one last quick squeeze before standing back up straight.

"Bye father," Draco said to him hesitantly, proceeding toward him cautiously in case he decided to do what his mother had. Draco extended his hand and I rolled my eyes as they shook hands. Lucius's eyes brightened at something behind us, making spin around. I saw Crabbe and Goyle, the boys we had met in the bookshop, waddling over to us. Their parents were no where in sight.

"Ah! Crabbe! Goyle! There you two are! Now you four can all go find a compartment together," Lucius enthused. "Where's Pansy?" he added, looking around.

"Probably on the train," Goyle mumbled in a deep voice. The train whistle blew again and Narcissa hurriedly ushered us toward the train.

"Now you all be careful! Stay safe!" she called as we stepped up onto the train. Lucius and her waved one more time, before they turned and left. I turned away from the train entrance and strode in through the corridors, looking for a compartment. Draco grabbed onto my wrist, making sure he wouldn't lose me, and I assumed Crabbe and Goyle were right behind him. I spotted an empty compartment and entered into it, shoving my bag up onto the luggage rack. I opened the window of the train and opened up Night's cage. I had decided I didn't want to leave him stuck in his cage the entire train ride. He picked up his head from underneath his wing and hooted. Crabbe and Goyle stared at him in awe and he hopped up onto the seat, spread his wings, and sailed out of the window. I closed it quickly and shoved his cage up in the luggage rack as well. Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle placed their things up there as well before we all took a seat.
