"No, Draco," I said firmly. "I'm going home for Christmas and there's nothing you can say that's going to change my mind. We stayed here for Christmas last year already."

Draco smirked slyly at me from the couch. "What if I told you I wouldn't go to Hogsmead with you if you went home for Christmas Break?"

I stared at him. "I despise you at the moment."

He chuckled, clapping his hands together. "It's settled," he said triumphantly. "We're staying."

I sauntered over and plopped down next to him. "Yeah, but you're writing the letter to Narcissa to tell her this time. She almost cursed me through the parchment last year."

I awoke on the following Saturday morning with a certain spring in my step as I pranced around my room, waking up the other three girls cheerfully.

"Sierra, again?" Jalen grumbled, flipping over in her place and shoving her head under her pillow. "We don't have to wake up butt early in the morning every time we go to Hogsmead."

"Yes we do!" I sang, throwing the covers off Airam, unfazed by Jalen's grumpy morning behavior. Airam squinted up at me and then mumbled something incoherent as she pulled herself out of bed. "Come on, Jalen, be more like Airam. Look how happy she is!"

Airam glowered at me as she shuffled over to the restroom and I winked at her as she slammed the door. Jalen grumpily sat up in bed and I moved along to Pansy, who was already grumbling death threats at me from under her covers as I approached her without hesitation.

"I hope you all don't ditch me in the Hogshead like last time," Pansy warned tediously as the four of us trekked down to the Great Hall, where we assumed the five boys would be waiting.

"You're still on about that?" I droned. "It was a little prank."

"That creepy man was in there, though!"

"Trust me," Jalen interjected flippantly. "We wouldn't do anything to you. His bite compared to his bark is about the same as Malfoys."

"My Drakey Poo has a very big bite!" Pansy defended. Then she smirked over at me and opened her mouth to add something but was cut off by a loud clatter as someone dropped their goblet when we entered the Great Hall.

I hurriedly sat down at the Slytherin table next to Draco while Airam and Jalen sat on my other side and Pansy sat on Draco's other side. Theodore, Blaise, Crabbe, and Goyle were across from us, all laughing loudly as a couple of Hufflepuff first years slipped on the drink that had been spilled when we entered.

"Pansy says you have a big bite," I said to Draco, raising my eyebrows and giving him a playful pointed look.

Draco looked over at Pansy who grinned dreamily up at him. "Did she?" he asked.

"Ooh, how would she know that?" Blaise asked, his eyebrows jumping.

"Player Malfoy," Goyle enthused while Theodore whistled.

"No!" Draco barked, clearly perturbed.

"Well, isn't Pansy just the sweetest?" Theodore asked, winking at Draco. I laughed dangerously as Pansy smirked over at me.

"Please," I droned, pushing my breakfast around with my fork mindlessly. "Pansy is about as sweet as a Dementor."

"If I'm a Dementor, that means you're afraid of me, so thank you," Pansy fired back.
