I opened my eyes slowly. I turned around on the couch, groaning. I looked up at the clock over the fireplace to see it was only 2:00 in the middle of the night. Then I sat up quickly. Couch? Fireplace?
I looked around wildly to see I was in the living room of Malfoy Manor, and that my father was sitting in an armchair across from where I was lying. "Father! Why are we here instead of the forest?"
"I decided to change it up a little," he responded with a shrug and I laughed. Then his face went serious. "Sierra, the time is here. It is time to take action."
I gaped up at him. "N-Now? What? Why have you decided now all of a sudden?"
"Potter's found my diary. It's been in the possession of the girl I had Lucius plant it with, Ginny Weasley-"
"GINNY WEASLEY?" I shrieked in alarm. Father glared at me and I looked down. I didn't know the girl was Ron's little sister. I didn't know it was a Weasley at all.
"As I was saying," father continued with an edge to his voice. "Potter has my diary now. The girl realized what it was doing to her and tried to discard it into the toilet, but it just landed right in Potter's hands."
I still hadn't looked up at him. Ron's little sister. She was so innocent and pure and didn't deserve what was coming to her-
"Sierra!"
I jumped as my father snapped at me angrily. "You are not to feel guilty! Do you not care to remember who you are? Who's daughter you are?"
"I'm sorry," I mumbled.
"Anyway," he said after a while. "Now Potter has been inside my journal and I've got the girl to take it back from him so she can take it to the chamber and my 16 year old self can come out. All of her energy will drain from her into me. She will slowly die."
I tried not to let the words sting me, but I couldn't but gulp with difficulty. Father huffed.
"And for you, dear," he said with apathy. "I've made it to where she will feel no pain."
My eyes widened. "Really?" I asked happily. "Father that's the nicest thing you've ever done!"
"Don't remind me," he muttered bitterly. "So you will meet the girl when I instruct her to write a message on the wall, and you will go down into the chamber with her. There, my memory will come out my diary and the girl will die slowly, making me stronger." He grinned before adding, "And we will be the most powerful dark wizards in the world."
I clapped and he chuckled. "So is it clear?" he asked.
"Crystal," I said and he smirked.
"See you soon, dear." He disappeared from the armchair and I closed my eyes.
When I opened them I was staring up at the top of my four poster bed. I sighed. Let's do this.
_____
The teachers had been assigned to walk all of their students from class to class, so we were being led down the hall by Snape. I was trying not to let my nerves get the best of me; I had to have a clear head if I was going to do this mission perfectly without getting caught. Going along with Ginny while she wrote the message on the wall was very risky, but I had to since I had to go down into the chamber with her to meet father. Well, 16 year old father. Even though I had tried to ignore this feeling, I felt really bad about the girl being Ginny. She was Ron's little sister, and she was going to die. I shook away the feeling. I was going to have to let all of them die for father. I could deal with Harry so I could deal with Ginny.
