I opened my eyes and everything was white. I was in the Hospital Wing, like father had said. I sat up in bed, realizing Harry had said my name. I looked across the Wing, right in front of me. "Harry!" I exclaimed. He was really there. Perfectly fine and alive. I tore the blanket off of me and stood up.
"No don't!" Harry said, alarmed.
I ignored him and stood up. I fell to the ground, my legs feeling like jelly. My head spun but I stood back up. "Dang," I mumbled. Harry chuckled.
"You hit your head pretty hard when you got stunned," he said.
I didn't care how I felt. I stumbled over to him and flung myself over him. He hugged me back automatically. "You're alright," I breathed, pulling away. He had a large and stupid grin on his face that I hated but liked at the same time. He opened his mouth to say something but Madam Pomfrey came out, holding a tray. She spotted me up and dropped the tray in alarm.
"Ms. Riddle!" she scolded. "Get back in that bed!" She rushed over to me and grabbed my upper arm gently, guiding me back to my bed. She pushed me down and covered me back up with the pure white blanket. I was still wearing my sweatpants and shirt from the night before. My head thumped and I reached up to it. There was a large bandage wrapped around it at least three times. Then I notice the burning in my neck and throat. I feel the indentions that were still there from the Devils Snare, probably red.
Madam Pomfrey left me and with a flick of her wand, the shattered pieces of tray she had broken vanished along with the food and drinks that were on it. "I'll be back. I need to go get more food." She shot me a look and then left into her office.
"Sorry!" I called after her and Harry chuckled.
"Dumbledore just left," he said.
"Oh really?" I asked. "What did he want?"
Harry's face slightly paled. "Oh--uh--just to talk to me."
Father needed to teach me how to use the Legilimens spell because I wanted to read his mind so bad right now. "What about?"
"Nothing important. Just some things about the stone." He muttered something else but I didn't bother asking what. I doubted he would tell me anyway.
I sighed internally. I still needed to do more work, he needed to be able to tell me everything. "Oh," I said. I grabbed a box of chocolate frogs that Draco had left for me. There were loads of baskets of candy from Airam, Jalen, and Draco. There was even some from Crabbe, Goyle, Zabini, and surprisingly, Theodore Nott. There was also some from Pansy but I didn't eat it, thinking it must be poisoned. There were also two get well cards from Ron and Hermione, a box of jelly beans attached to each. "How long have we been in here?" I asked.
"They brought us in last night," Harry responded. "Well, that's what Dumbledore told me."
Madam Pomfrey came out with another tray of food and we ate silently.
____________
Harry glanced over at me as we walked out of the Hospital Wing. "Sierra?" he asked.
"Yeah, Harry?"
"I really appreciate you coming. To get the stone, I mean. You know you didn't have to do it." He looked nervous, and I wondered why as I smiled up at him slightly.
Oh, it was nothing really," I said. "I wanted to go anyways-"
"Why did you want to go so bad?" he asked quickly, cutting me off. He spat it out so fast it was like he was afraid he wouldn't ask it at all if he didn't do it right away. I gazed over at him with narrowed eyes. "You knew how dangerous it was," he continued. "Why would you want to risk your life like that?"
