"Raphy, please!" irritated, I woke up.
Kaye barged in.
"Uh. Hello, princess. It's time for you to... Oh! maaga ka yatang nagising ngayon?"
"Maaga? Ni hindi nga ako nakatulog eh!"
"Chill. Magkaka wrinkles ka nyan. Kakaisip sa nangyari sa inyo ni zed sa orphanage?"
"Sira! Si Raphy. Kagabi pa yan tawag ng tawag. Gustong magkita kami for lunch eh magkikita naman kami bukas since Saturday naman. Haaaaay!" habang ginugulo ang buhok.
"Relax. Anong plano mo?"
"Eh di makikipagkita."
"Ngayon? Di ba may trabaho ka?"
"Kahit anong oras at araw naman, pwede akong pumasok. I'll just call the office."
"Makikipagkita ka to make up?"
"No. Medyo OA na rin si Raphy. Overly attached to the media world. tipong walang privacy ang relationship namin."
"So, makikipag break ka?"
"Hmmm. Sort of."
Nanlaki ang mga mata ni Kaye.
"Isang buwan pa lang kayo ni Raphy tapos break agad?"
"Look, Kaye. Na realize ko rin na tama ka. Unfair naman kay Raphy na nakatali sya sa akin pero wala naman akong nararamdaman sa kanya."
"Because of Zed."
"NO! OF COURSE NOT! He's out of the picture."
"Talaga lang ha."
"Talagang-talaga. Okay. Get up and breakfast is served."
"Okay."
I called the office muna to say na hindi ako makakapunta. Si Chloe, Zed's secretary, ang nakasagot sa tawag.
I texted Raphy then.
Raphael de Monteverde: I'll pick you up.
Me: No. I'll come alone.
Raphael de Monteverde: ok.

Nakita ko si Raphy sa restaurant na sinabi niya. I saw him looking rugged. Not the usual Raphy na nakikita ko.
"Babe!" sabay yakap.
"Raphy, please."
"Babe, I'm sorry for saying that to you," hinalikhalikan ang mga kamay ko.
"Raphy!" at tinanggal ko ito sa pagkakahawak nya.
"What do you want? Wai..."
"I need some space."
"Babe..."
"Raphy, look. It's not you, okay. It's... it's me. I told you from the start na..."
"...na you don't love me. Yes, I know. Pero mahal kita. I love you, Debline."
"It will be unfair for you. I told you, I'll try. Pero hindi. You're a good man, Raphy. You deserve someone better."
