Zach's P. O. V.

"Jack, someones here to see you!" Daniel yelled from the front door. Being the nosy boys we were, Corbyn, Jonah, and I ran to the front door.

I immediately stopped when I saw who was at the door. I didn't know her name, but she was absolutely beautiful. I stared at her in awe as she ran and jumped in Jack's arms. My jaw clenched, but relaxed when jack introduced her as his best friend.

We left them alone after they seemed to be starting an argument, but stopped right around the corner to listen in.

"Iris, I'm sorry. I just didn't mention you because I knew once they saw you, they'd try to steal you," we heard Jack say.

We wouldn't want to admit it, but Jack's probably right. We wouldn't try to get in the way of their friendship, but I know for sure at least one of us is gonna try to date her. Hopefully no one except for me.

When Jack introduced us, she hugged all of us. I held onto her for longer than I thought. I didn't realize I wasn't letting go until the boys started laughing. I need to get this crush under control before I make a fool of myself.

Iris sang one of her songs for us, and we song one for her. I sat next to her and watched her talk, but was distracted by Jack staring at me. He knew I liked her, and he was being overprotective.

I took pictures for Jack and Iris, and we hung out for the whole day. Jack and Iris went inside for a second, leaving the rest of us.

"Dude, you're making it so obvious," Jonah said laughing.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Zach, it's so obvious that you like Iris," Corbyn said.

"What? No I don't," I lied.

"Sure. So you wouldn't mind if I asked her out?" Daniel teased.

"Okay fine. I do like her. I think. I don't even know her y-"

"Hey Zach, would you mind driving me to the hotel?" Iris called from the back door. The guys all raised their eyebrows at me.

As I walked towards Iris, Jonah coughed.

"Get some" he said under his breath. I looked back and glared at him, then took Iris to the car.

I opened the door for her and then ran around to the drivers side. I hopped in and started driving, thinking of someway to start a conversation.

"So, what's it like being the youngest in the band?" She asked giggling a little.

"Well, I get teased a lot. But it's okay because obviously I'm the cutest." I joked. She laughed, and nodded. Was she being serious or just going along with the joke?

"So, how long have you and Jack been friends?" I asked.

"A little over a year. He helped me get through some serious shit, and we've been best friends since. Well, until you guys left on tour," she said sighing. "I really missed talking to him, and I always beat myself down thinking it was my fault that he wouldn't text me."

"I'm sure it wasn't you're fault," I told her.

"Yeah. Hopefully now that I'll be around here a lot, we can reconnect," she said.

"So from all the stories you told us earlier, it sounded like you and Jack were super close. Are you really just friends?" I asked hoping she wouldn't feel too awkward.

"Definitely. There's nothing there between us, but it was funny how we found that out." She laughed. "We sort of had a moment, and we kissed, but it was gross. It was like I was kissing my brother, and he felt the same way about me." She laughed.
