Iris's P. O. V.
"You guys were incredible!" I said through the phone. The guys were all squeezed into the frame of Zach's phone.
"Thanks. It was amazing!" Zach said.
"The fans are so creative. Did you see those signs?" Jack asked.
"I know. Your fans are really cool."
"I have to go get ready for my interview."
"Good luck!"
"Knock em dead!"
I hung up and grabbed my keys, kissing Rose goodbye.
The boys had performed on the Today Show this morning. I had to wake up early to see it live. I walked outside and got in my car, driving to the radio station.

"Mom, what's going on?"
"I need to talk to you. Why didn't you answer your phone earlier?"
"I was in an interview for a radio station."
"Oh that's great!"
"Yeah, thanks. What is it that's so important?"
"Oh. I want you to come back to Pennsylvania."
"What? Why?"
"School is starting up soon. You have to be here."
"Mom, I thought I was doing online school. Like Zach and the other guys did."
"Well I thought about it and I remember last year how much I disagreed with the way they taught you. Plus, you need the high school experience."
"Do you not remember my freshman year?"
"Iris it'll be different now. They'll treat you like a celebrity."
"Because that's a normal high school experience." I scoffed.
"Listen Iris, you are going to go to school in Pennsylvania whether you like it or not. I'm your mother and you'll do as I say," she said raising her voice.
"But what am I suppose to do about my music?"
"Take a break. Artists do it all the time."
"Not when they're just getting started."
"You can still write and record at home. You don't need those fancy sound systems."
"Since when are you so against me becoming an artist?"
"I don't know what you're talking about. I've always supported you."
"Then why are you making me do this?"
"Because I think it's best for you to take a break. You've had so much stress, coming home will give you a break."
"Home would be relaxing, but school is more torturing and stressful than my life right now," I said before hanging up.
In less than five seconds she texted me, threatening me to come back home. What has gotten into her? She's never been this strict before.
"Meghan," I said grabbing her. I had gone into the bathroom to answer the call, and when I walked out she was right there.
"What was all that yelling about?"
"My mom is making me go back to school. In Pennsylvania."
"What? Why?"
"I don't know. She said I needed a break from stress."
"School is as far from a break as you can get."
